She got so much flack for allegedly lip-synching in live performances back in the day, but she is clearly singing live here and sounding quite lovely at that. It's a real shame she never released another album after Head Over Heels. I can't think of anyone else who had such massive success (the first two albums were monster) and then essentially abandoned their career. It's as if the failure of Head Over Heels robbed her of her confidence.
saltwatercb she actually had to leave the business for a while because of all her physical problems. It was around 1995 or 96 that they started to take a turn for the worse.

Darling in '93 she was in a plane crash and has 16 spinal surgeries so far
i think it had to do with changing tastes in music by the mid 90's she also took a long break between spellbound and head over heals
