Not really, granted their natural range is shrinking but ultimately it's still taking a wild animal as opposed to getting one from an auction or shelter.
@@TuberoseKisser Actually, it’s illegal for a common everyday person to take a mustang from the wild. The person in this video is not the one who took her from her home. Mustangs are routinely taken from their homes by the Bureau of Land Management and adopted out. If people like this person don’t adopt them, they’re taken by kill buyers and sent off to slaughter.
It’s definitely 4 foot, coming from a person that jumps 3’3 regularly. I’ve met this horse, the height of the jump compared with the height of the horse shows that this is 4ft or around that. 3’3 generally comes up around the horses chest area depending on the height, and she’s around the size of my Quarab.
Whin was caught in the wild and brought into a program for riders to train up wild mustangs and then they get sold off to new homes. In a way it’s like fostering a stray dog or cat, just with a bigger animal
The program is to shine light on the issue with the wild horses, I’m not exactly sure why but it probably has something to do with the living areas getting smaller so they need to make the herds smaller
Mustang just means feral horse, American mustangs are invasive feral animals not natural wildlife. They need good homes, but unfortunately most are sold to international kill buyers.
That would make the competitors watching nervous lol
She's soo cool! Really nice little mate!!
Beautiful horse & jump. Would really appreciate it if you could put a flashing lights/ seizure warning in the title though :)
@Equestrian Diva It doesn't matter . Nobody would know it was flashy until it was too late .
@Equestrian Diva stop what? Being courteous? Never.
@Equestrian Diva I'm actually a millennial. But nice try.

Wow cool!
But doesn't the mustang belong in the wild? (No hate
Don't worry, yes the mustang is a common horse found in the wild but it is just a horse breed, just like the friesian, lipizzaner etc
@@Paulina-oz8qf Okay 😊
