Maureen BZap it cannot be taugt in 100 days..that’s why it is a horrible version of a „wanna-be-passage“ - it has nothing to do with dressage.and it‘s an insult to call this hopping around a passage.of course she did an overall great job in „breaking“ the horse in such a short time, but I would have focused on the basics like riding the horse in a way that’s healthy in the long term instead of trying to impress with half-beaked show stuff..
An Bing - Elias is very familiar with proper passage (if you've watched her other videos), so I would find it hard believe she would call this a passage. Imho, she stumbled upon something this particular horse did naturally and just capitalized on it.
@@nananini123 If you check out Feldges story, you will see that this trot is something he just does sometimes. It was not taught, just something fun he did by himself and she showed it of. She actually refers to it as his "fancy trot", as in his way of "trying to be fancy"...so check your facts and stop being so rude about stuff you didn't even bother to look up. The equestrian world, I swear to god.
@@shadebreak4719 Yep, the equestrian world is full of snobs. I would rather watch this rider & horse -- a horse that once roamed free & wild untouched by humans than horses who have spent many years in training to perfect required maneuvers. 100 days of training & showing off everything the horse learned in 100 days sets an example of what these Mustangs are capable of becoming after life in the wild. Each year the BLM rounds up a certain number of Mustangs & sends them to auction. Mustang Makeover proves they are worth more than becoming just another piece of meat on someone's dinner plate. As for the percentage of snobs in the equestrian world performing the perfect maneuvers, sit way down. You've got nothing on this incredible duo!
See theres a flaw in that thinking. Much like humans, not all horses respond to this kind of training. Every horse is different and as long as no actual harm comes to the animal, every training technique has its pros and cons.
We have lots of footage from the mustang million, including live reining footage of both Nimh and Rune, which we have made available via our website only (WallaceEventing[dot]com). We're going to produce all of our videos from the event and post them Sunday night. Thanks for watching and cheering us on!
I can't count how many times I've watched this. AMAZING. You are truly gifted with horses. Tears and chills every time. Reminds me of the amazing bond I had with my pony growing up - he and I grew up together. Horse and human bond can't be beat!
i watched this like 20 times so far! i ave watched this whole series and the mustang million/branded for success series! i love your bond! i subscribed
Absolutely Beautiful Elisa! We share the same equine training philosophy. We end up with horses that are respectful, love to be ridden, are loyal and do Amazing things for us.! :):) As you prove, the results are Indeed amazing :) This is why I am subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great dedication & commitment to these lovely animals. :) I so enjoy watching (and learning;):)
Do Georgia girls rule too?...lol (Elisa was born and raised in the Peach State, and currently trains out of Rock Creek Farms in Jasper, GA). Thanks for the support! Can't wait to put up another video after the Mustang Million!
Elise, I was wondering if you can alert people that adopting a mustang is not for everyone, great trainers make it look easy. People are getting in over their head..Maybe they should adopt out of the kill pens first? I just saw 5 beautiful mustangs at the kill pens in Louisiana.
mustang the best horses, the only way to save them is to adopt them.those asshole ranchers out west are killing all of them,if you're going to get a horse, get a mustang.
You’re too big for the pony and the awful spurs are horrendous. Choking him into a stop is not my idea of fun. I don’t see a pony that’s enjoying himself. He doesn’t want to lay down, he wants to get up but you force him back down. Thumbs down. I know America has different standards where it comes to the way horses should be treated, like rodeos are still allowed, but giving this performance first place is beyond me.
She didn't use the spurs. They were probably here just for the outfit. She didn't choke him to stop. She shifted her weight back and the horse responded. I don't know where you're seeing her pulling. Choking a horse with a neckrope is almost impossible because it sits low on the neck. You would have to pull like crazy to do so. Fledge was trained respectfully in a gentle way, and the goal of this event is to show that mustangs are incredible horses and encourage people to get them at auctions. You can watch how Elisa works with mustangs in her youtube channel. I understand how it may seem like it was rushed, but you're going on to the wrong person.
idk why but this made me cry it was so beautiful
We most definitely kept him! Check out our "Extreme Mustang Makeover 2012" playlist to see the whole story, including the auction!
Now, the ultimate " babysitter, teacher etc... Fledge is a legend
I keep coming back to this one-Just wonderful! How the heck did you teach Passage in 100 days??????

Hello fellow horse army💜💜😂
Awesome. Wish everyone in America treated the horse they are training this way.

Didn't know you knew everyone in America.

very nice.... but why the stirrups?
Paul Bignell what stirrups she doesn’t have any 😂
Grace Equine i think he means spurs
Spurs are directional tools if that’s what your talking about
Excuse me while I cry...and I don't even know the kid.
those stops are horrid lol
Sliding stops
Dude I know what I'm talking about. I've done reining for 2 years. Stops and sliding stops mean the same thing for me.
