    I think I might like it better with a pile of the brass on one of the corners and then brass spread across the rest of the table. maybe add more variety like different size pistol casings. still looks amazing as it is though.

      I would also add pulled bullets of various calibers instead of just brass.

      Make sure you lay you epoxy in three separate pours or you'll get air bubbles inside the casings

      Yes you should have , don’t ever sell yourself short , I use to refinish furniture , people absolutely love these types of art in their office house man cave , I have finished more furniture for doctors and lawyers than you can imagine , they will pay top dollar for stuff like this ! Stuff you can’t get anywhere else they love it !

      @@DerekConwayTX Sorry to hear that. Just sold a damascus knife I made a little while back to a buddy of mine for $200. Considering it was all steel leftovers from other projects, moose bone for the handle, and moose hide for the sheath.

      In Denmark it actually is illegal unless you have a permission to collect old things like that, or have a permission for weapons or reloading ammo.

    Have you tried using thermochromic pigments for coloration in your
    tables? Another concept would be to create "lava" with water & oil
    & coloring and have it recirculate through a hollow channel in the
    table. Have you looked at using electrochromic film for table tops? You
    could have it change from a white frost appearance to any table finish
    underneath it with the flick of a switch.

    My kitchen counter top is covered in stone tile. It's very uneven and impossible to clean. So I am thinking of doing this with diamond plate trim.

    If it was a larger piece it would be cool to incorporate ammo boxes into it. If the legs were the same dimension as the ammo box, you could use them as ornamental feet for the table.. attach the lid to the side of the leg

    I would have put (cleanesed) brass into a bucket and soaked in epoxy while stirring to make sure no bubbles and prevent them from floating.

    Bullets are projectiles, cases/shells/brass are containers for primer and powder, assembled they are cartridges.

Because the shell is the casing or cartridge? These are things I like to know for sure when I'm in a room with pros...

    I would have made least few reloaded dummy rounds and mixed them in. Maybe lined edges with 22lr or 9mm brass.
