At 60 years old, James looks very cool. It can be said that he has not changed much, only a few wrinkles have been added.

Haha! Luckily, he hasn't changed too drastically. And hey, since he's only been rocking the blonde/white hair recently, I'd say he actually looks more like Spike now than he has in years! 😂(He kept his hair dark from the time "Angel" ended until probably 3 years ago).

Love James Marsters! He's so great. Haha! Accidentally saying English swear words on a UK/Irish morning show is such an easy thing for an American to do! 😆Since those words literally aren't swear words in America (which is why Spike could swear like an English sailor on the WB/CW), we kinda forget that they might be inappropriate to an actual English/Irish audience. 😂 I, actually, do like the idea of Spike as a Watcher because he would have absolutely no patience and it would be hilarious! 😆

I used to watch this with my daughter when she was about 12, it is still one of my favorites. One of maybe three series I watched from beginning to end, which since I’m obviously old lol, says a lot! The metaphors!

I have to agree. But more on a metaphorical level. I need to take some time and make a video essay about it. I really believe his character stands for Buffy's greatest love, not Angel, which doesn't mean their love story wasn't the grandest love story ever told by Joss Whedon. But like with Romeo and Juliet, a great love story or even the grandest love story doesn't mean that this was your one true love.
Then you've misunderstood the entire show. You're one of those women who watches a show just to see attractive people "getting together".
Angel spoke the best line about his hair: "What color is that? Radioactive?" It's the line that still kills!

He was my favorite character on the show and in my opinion made the show better. James did an excellent in the deviopmment of Spike from a villian to a hero.
I met James twice, he isn’t only an awesome actor but also a lovely person 👌♥️ I love his humor and simplicity 🙂 Buffy is one of my favorite show but hard to do better 🤔 Ps I Love You is a good movie.

My best friend got me a cameo from him when I was going through a hard time and he was amazing! It was the best gift I ever received!

Marsters is an amazing actor--and his turn as Spike in 'Buffy' proves it. So heckin' good, that it was a SHOCK to hear his Yankee accent (Anthony Head is a great coach!). Two favourite moments: Spike telling someone that Billy Idol got his shtick from HIM, and not the other way around...😂...and his final scene in the series, when--on the cusp of dying--he tells Buffy that he yearns to find out 'what's next'...
Incredible, memorable character, in a remarkable series.

Yep - sometimes you can tell he is putting on an accent, but he sounds like an English person putting on a different English accent rather than an American doing an English accent
(Also Rest In Peace is very impressive, given that he doesn't drop the accent whilst singing, and has a couple of lines in game face makeup and fangs - really shows off the work and skill both he and Anthony Head put in to accent coaching)

Cast on Buffy was really great. Almost every actor was doing top notch job. I'm sure great writing helped a lot too.

When I watched this series I was always wondering why Buffy pushed Spike away, just stating he had no soul, but Angel had no soul either. Both guys had their colorful history. But Spike was much more fun than Angel, which in my opinion I found actually a depressing character.
We need this series back.... couldn't do it without spike ✊🤘

I loved Spike! I just had the weirdest thought, thinking about blood, because he played a vampire. Ok here it is: In the movie Psycho, what if Norman Bates' mother WAS still alive and had not gone through menopause? And he takes care of her right? And it was 10 times inferior and also not fully a musical and without going through major main storylines.
@@FuzzyDlop actually it was a proper musical episode, vastly superior to Buffy's in my opinion and was the resolution of one of the most important and dramatic arcs in the series.
