Only Cordelia could make a salesman want to talk to somebody else in the household. What a nice delight that was added to the "Scooby gang." And Spike was like a center fielder he covered around on both sides. They might fight amongst themselves but woe to the ones who attacked them.

Honestly, since James has aged-- he should if there is some buffy reunion episode play a "new dracula" like he's overcome dracula but in doing so, has aged somewhat. It'd allow him to still be Spike but also explain away aging to do a reunion episode.

James said he didn't have a problem with Whedon, but he also said Whedon pushed him against the wall and shouted at him. Told him his original plan was to kill Spike after a few episodes, but the producers forced him to keep Spike alive.
@MakeMeCare Because James is a chill guy. He didn't hold a grudge and they managed to work together after that.

How Brilliant that James can switch to Spike at the blink of an eye. The actors had a difficult time because Josh Whedon didn't get psychologist help but he made them into brilliant actors and none of us knew what they went through behind the scenes and yet they pulled off amazing acting. Joss drew out every emotion. I remember some episodes were exhausting to watch. My kids and I would discuss after every episode what we learned from it
With the storyline of both Buffy and Angel, Spike and Buffy are a better match as well as Cordelia and Angel. JM's response about how Bangel cannot be due to the fact that they literally cant get together which means they are meant to not be together is a perfect description (they are a across the stars/ forbidden love trope) and that is fine. Watching Angel, I can see the growth and connection b/t Cordy and Angel and of course what we get with Spike and Buffy by the end of S7. Two mature relationships with characters who grow with each other and it turn compliment one another.
When i was a kid i had a file in zelda named after buffy characters one for buffy and spike. ❤😂

What is she talking about treating Spike like Muck? Spike was a serial killer (with a science project in his head to try and curb his behavior). And Cordilla was a mean girl for three seasons until she was humbled by losing all her money.
I thought these two were being set up to have a Supernatural spin off with their characters Donald and Maggie Stark.

You're both right that you shouldn't date someone from work, but sometimes it just happens. This even happened to me twice and both at the same workplace. After it was over it was a bit strange but we still continued to work together normally.

Yes..however Angel was frequently 12 to 14 hours a day. I did a few dayplayers on it. Now imagine you do 5 seasons!
This kinda bugged me too, because look right in their own backyard. Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisoff have been married for HOW long now? I agree with the overall principle wholeheartedly, but I felt like it was rude not to acknowledge them as an exception, especially at a panel specifically for Buffy.

He was very method in season 2 so it could be that, he would be alone and not talk to anyone on set to be in the mindframe of spike (he said so himself in another interview) so it could be that or due to the fact they dropped charisma for season 5 on angel for james
@mikebalestra8348 he's not a method actor. He's just good at what he does whether he thinks he method or not. Method actors are very extreme at what they do and tend to piss people off and that's something I never heard of him doing.
