I like the writing. They are pretty clean and I like the "Mars" reference a few times in there. I don't know what their show is, if it is not planets, then it's nice they snuck that in like they always seem to. I thought the tenor book was lacking. Anybody else?
I think it has something to do with time as they snuck in Mars and the show also started with fugue in g minor from 2011. I also agree that the tenor book was a little disappointing but I enjoyed the line overall.
Cool stuff in there but not a lot of variation, and a little too much tutti. The players can do more I think. Separate the voices and use them uniquely, coming together for effect
@@ryanhenderson2388 i’m not 100%, but it seems that it’s a roll going from one type of rhythm and either opening up or closing down into a larger or smaller roll…. if that makes sense
those pressure changes and that space are no joke... low end quality is always outstanding
Interesting use of a lot of small space between rolls
Lovin all the cold attack singles and rolls
They had to have won drums this year holy shit
Good news!
Love how they always have
press buzzes. It’s like I hear a sneaky verse in a song lol (if that makes sense)
1:19 those singles were so clean it caused an earthquake

@@ryanhenderson2388 double stroke roll with emphasis on the first two notes
The Cavies drumline used to be awesome . Early 2000s and even 06 & 08. They’re not as good or cool now in my opinion. But they’re still very solid
