I have a 07 clone I just lowered with belltech street performance 2" 3" drop & it looks great your truck looks really good I also have my windows blacked out here in Michigan its illegal for tints in the front unless you have a note from a dr or eye dr saying you need tints. Cheat code for you guys for tints.
Right, Trailblazers have a very different suspension. Lots of moving pieces! Reminds me of my 1996 W900L with the AG100 rear suspension! 8 airbags, 2 sway bars, 4 torque rods & a whole bunch a bushings to be pressed in. But when she's ready you can haul some sh-t! Especially with the Big 550 Cat in the nose🥰💰💰💰
Heck yeah! It does look good lowered. Great job once again Travis. As always, really detailed and informative. Thanks. You mentioned getting a more powerful impact. I have a Milwaukee Fuel. It is awesome.
Good job👍🏿 Don't forget to change those front sway bar bushings also. AC Delco makes a nice polyurethane bushing for those. Rock Auto has them for a nice price 👍🏿
My Beltech lowering shocks listed the drop as 1.5 and 2.5 inches. I did replace the airbags with coils. The shocks I installed at the lowest setting. I only used the shocks and that gave me the drop I wanted. I think you went lower though. 👍 Mine was about 30 inches in the front and a little over that in the back when done. It's been a while so I could be wrong.
Looks sick! I have always liked the Chevy Trail Blazers! Wish I had an SS! I would do the same thing and lower it because it changes the look and personality of the Blazer
Looks amazing lowered, worth the hassle. Question on a recent purchase of a 2003 Sierra, noticed the bed on mine is about 1/2 inch lower on the right side looking from the back and comparing it to the cab. Haven't looked to see what the issue is, but is there a common thing on these that makes the bed lean lower on the right ... or is it the cab leaning left ? Will look at it one day when I have time ...
@@TWAMotorsports TW. Great tutorial on your trail blazer SS. Ball joints are kinda pain. Especially if the vehicle is really old... Your SS ball joints came out pretty easy... Let me know when you need some help and I'll fly over to missouri and help you out with your vehicles .... 😂... Great video as always....🇺🇲
I didn’t understand why you didn’t use the rear springs? You had them on your work bench right? The Belltech 4230? But then later on the video you said they were back ordered.
Awesome Vid! Lucky with the RWD, I have a AWD and wasn’t as easy as yours but it was well worth. You going to do a vid on the oil starvation issue on these?
Buy the kit from PCM of NC if you have a 2WD it should be pretty straight forward if you get stuck for whatever reason you can contact them they are really helpful.
I always loved the chevy trailblazer ss, now the truck looks a lot better dropped very nice ..... How is your son doing driving the stick shift, I showed you a picture of the petals ...pause, stop, and play on the petals
Nice work,I love the way they look but the ride is horrible when lowered but if you live in an area with good roads you should b we fine. I'm in NYC this didn't work out for me so I had to go back up a little.
I installed the Tony Norcal SS (stock height) front and rear shocks/springs replacement and it rides horrible. The front and rear compress at different rates. It almost makes you sick to ride in it. I will be going back to stock as soon as I can afford it.
@@TWAMotorsports I could’ve sworn you installed the shocks he supplies with his kits? Am I incorrect? I love the ride from the factory airbags. So smooth and stable. Maybe I should go back and try to troubleshoot all the gremlins of the airbag system that I was having now that I have a GM MDI

did you end up lowering yours i have a 03 ltz lowered with belltech 2/3 kit and djm control arms for the camber issue it rides well and looks great i like it the only thing (for me atleast) is i have replaced the front belltech shocks a couple of times already due to them blowing... its probably more due to my driving, tho i do not drive the truck hard and i watch the road a lot so i don't know

Plenty of work to do the drop , But Well Worth it ! Glad this TB/SS found a good home.

Keep an eye on your end links with lowering they maybe too long. I also have NorCal kit and I had to delete the air bags but looks great
I will keep an eye on that

I can’t find the upper A arms website do you have another website for them
Google norcal tony
Soo when you put the new strut i need to leave the bolts loose and drop it and after its on the floor tight the bolts up ?
Or lift bottom a arm and tighten
Looks sweet!! I wish I could bring you my OBS to lower it.

If I order the belltech front and rear tbss springs, and the shocks, will they fit my 07-14 Tahoe? I heard the tbss was stiffer (and cheaper)
Not the same in the Front

@njrtvacc you're welcome
Quick question. Do you have to change th e "A arms" when you lower the truck? I got belltech 2x3 drop
It's really recommended
How many spacers for the 31.5 drop or no spacers for 30.5 ?
Been too long ago to remember that

Yes

So it’s been 11 months do u still recommend just adjusting the bags to lower it or would I recommend the springs ?

It should absolutely
