    Terrific work. Absolutely gorgeous. Loved them both, just saw them together for the first time in "Inside Daisy Clover". Great valentine you have made for Natalie, also for Robert, thank you very much!

    Redford & Wood both had on-screen chemistry with all their co-stars. They were/are talented, beautiful artists. We are fortunate to have their work preserved on film. Actors are odd, unusual people. They can meet, then 5 minutes later play an emotional scene an audience would swear they sincerely felt. Then go home to their spouses & children.

    Actress Natalie Wood attended Van Nuys High School, Class of 1955, one year behind Robert Redford. The two would go on to co-star in 1965's Inside Daisy Clover. Natalie began her acting career in school plays.

    For me,..the BEST MOMENT is at 3:38.
    He's sitting there and watching her,..and her face get suddenly serious in her clown make up. And the same the song is at the highest point.
    BEAUTIFUL moment indeed !

    @1Macatax and @almawells, when This Property Is Condemned was made, Robert Redford was longterm (before and after) already married, evidently monogamously.

    Hmm. "I only wish our paths could've crossed again." Curious.
    I remember thinking in 1974 how those two looked like they would be great together.
    hehe, the head nod thing, yeah. I would say Redfords is the vaguely looking up at something, then looking at it again more squarely. (the double glance)

  • @NS-vw8pm
    @NS-vw8pm 6 лет назад

    I read that she was considered for Daisy in The Great Gatsby. Honestly I always thought Robert Redford was too waspish for the role, he would’ve been better as Tom Buchanan. Warren Beatty would’ve been perfect as Gatsby. And that casting would’ve been PERFECT

    I loved them in This Property is Condemned, although it had a very sad story and ending. I didn't like Inside Daisy Clover much because he played a gay and narcissistic actor there. But all the sizzling looks and hot kisses they shared made me envy Natalie so much I wanted to hate her.

    • @cinemacrusade3163
      @cinemacrusade3163 4 года назад +1

      I have to disagree, I thought he played a pretty good, and pretty cute gay boy.

    • @crisguia
      @crisguia 4 года назад

      @@cinemacrusade3163 Yeah, but he didn't care about Daisy at all. He just left her stranded. I dislike the character because of that.

    • @cinemacrusade3163
      @cinemacrusade3163 4 года назад +1

      @@crisguia I didn't really understand the meaning of that, other than being a tad narcissist/Toxic but at the same time, I wanna say 'but he came back in the end though' xD

  • @DDumbrille
    @DDumbrille 12 лет назад

    GREAT? She was barely 'good' or competent. She was definitely beautiful however...

  • @DDumbrille
    @DDumbrille 11 лет назад

    She showed no real emotion...for example she could not cry when necessary. She was a "movie star" for sure, but definitely not an actress.

      Who you been watching? Not Natalie Wood. Best actress next to Elizabeth Taylor. Her cry’s were natural and real. You must not know her story.
