    Ok, so what you are saying is that employees will be working 12 hour shifts 4 days a week, with 3 days off. Remains to be seen what effect that will have on the workers.

    To help with your channel, look up how water cooling computer systems operate. Water is a great conductor of heat, and that water operates in a closed loop, to run that water through a radiator. Those fan units most likely are being used to suck that warm water out through the radiator, which dissipates that water heat into the atmosphere.

      Yet another shining example of why we need unions to protect the workers.

    • @ReinReads
      @ReinReads Месяц назад +3

      Texas overtime laws require employers to pay non-exempt employees at least 1.5 times their regular rate of pay for every hour worked over 40 in a workweek.

      @@JoeTegtmeyer A union would have protected the workers from being fired with little to no warning, and without a valid reason, like what happened a few weeks ago. Also, where I worked, the union contract required not only overtime pay for more than 40 hours in a week.... But we also got overtime pay for more than 8 hours in a day. And overtime was optional. Which I always refused. 🙂 There are more important things than serving the corporation. Anyway, that is my opinion.

  • @77chickox
    @77chickox Месяц назад

    So this means that employees have to work 48 hours a week? Or does it mean 2 shifts @ 24 hours a week? To go from 8 hours a day to 12 hours strains any home life situation.

    • @lukeknowles5700
      @lukeknowles5700 Месяц назад

      You should subtract meal times from the 6am-6pm start/stop shift time. If they get two meal periods a day on a twelve hour shift, that is 11 hours worked x 4 or a 44 hour week.

    Cutting production is never good and a continued sign of how Elon's support for extreme right MAGA has continued to hurt the brand.

  • @adak2050
    @adak2050 Месяц назад

    My guess is they are going to update the Model Y line for the Juniper version coming soon. May also be creating a line for the Model 2. If Tesla was super savvy they would skip the Model 2 and figure out a way to get the Model Y Juniper down closer to $25,000 even $30,000 and use some new battery tech to get it from about 340, close to 500 mile range. They are already set up to make model Y's and could do a quick ramp. A car like that would dominate the market.
