Great vid! Amazing how most people only associate the large calabash with Sherlock Holmes. This sheds light on the true pipes he used which varied in shape and size.

Thanks for posting a thorough recap of the complete Sherlock Holmes lines.I love that intro, the music really works with the video clips.By a happy coincidence I just received my first Sherlock Holmes pipe yesterday; the Original Heritage.Im really impressed by its look and whole presentation, wished they still had that special box though...Lastly , hats off to the incomparable Jeremy Brett whose portrayal of Holmes will be compared to others but will never be bettered IMHO.

Great video Mike, lovely fore and aft cap. The Original and Return series all came in the nice green box. I don't remember the "Adventures" series, though the Moran shape rings a bell 🔔!
This is my first Old Man Things video and I loved it. Big fan of Sherlock Holmes and now I have a new mission to collect the entire Sherlock line just as you have. Hoping to buy the Mycroft as my first!
LOVED this video. It was like watching a documentary. The Hudson was my favorite of all. I googled it and am going to have to save up for one. Thanks for creating this. I’m going to watch it again.
I just got my Watson rusticated. I love it so much. Draws perfect. Mitigates moisture well. It is deceptively chonky and feels great in the hand. I got it for the bowl size and girth as I was hoping to make it The House / Library pipe. I like how the Rhodesian / Bulldog shape is typically a smaller shape with wide bowl but works for this size and the depth. I have a churchwarden 9mm filter stem I bought so that I could churchwarden out a few of my filter pipes by swapping stems. My Peterson Watson will take the Muxiang eBay churchwarden stem as well so now it also has an alter ego
Oh man I’d love to see the Watson transformed into a churchwarden. That would be one amazing churchwarden. I’m so glad you like yours. It’s one of my favorites

Once you start looking at the shapes they are so fantastic. And different. I find myself reaching for the professor now more and more and I’d never guess that before.
