My English is very good, I've been studying for a while, but I'm tired of not understanding some random things, so since 12/09/2021 I started watching all the videos on the channel in sequence and leave this comment on each one. Every day Congrats for the 5 mi subs
I love this serie and this lesson is so useful because, I think, Sherlock is a character that speaks way much faster than the normal ones, even with the subtitles is not easy to understand everything he says because of the speed. Nice video 😊
Brilliant video. I love "Sherlock" and the way you explain. Because sometimes its difficult to understand even with subtitles. Please do more clips with legendary detective.
This lesson is amazing. but Please put this format on hold because in my opinion the previous format was better and easier to comprehend than this format.
Sherlock is by far the only show in which I struggle to understand the accent of the characters especially of Sherlock Holmes. This lesson really helped me a bit. Thanks!
There is nothing which can describe your teaching level. You beauty .......... Good to see you again sir . Hope you r doing great. Have a good day sir.
Awesome introduction Ethan ! Thanks for doing lesson also with British English, I find it more challenging probably because I’m less exposed to it. The lesson per se it’s great but to honest I preferred the old format, nevertheless, nice job !
Today is 6 Jan 2024. I am in week 8. I've just completed 37 days 🎉 I began this endeavor on 11 Nov 2023, in this channel. I learned new words like ABROAD, TO GET A SHOT, BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS, GET YOURSELF SORTED, COULDN'T BEAR, LIKE THAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN, FLATSHARE, JUST IN, RIDING CROP, BRUISES, ALIBI, TO BORROW, TO LEND, LANDLINE, LEAP, ON END, OUGHT TO, GOT TO DASH, MORTUARY, INVALIDED, WALK OUT, LIMP, PSYCHOSOMATIC. PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH: My sister wants to borrow my shoes./ I'll lend you just 10 dollars. Thank you so much for this content. Please, don't remove this video; otherwise, I risk losing all the memories associated with it.
Love your British pronunciation, Ethan 😉 Whenever I lent something, I never had it back 😣 I prefer buying books rather than borrowing them, because I like to underline my favourite sentences
I must say that I am Indian and I knew all the words you explained prior I saw the video. We Indians have a different accent but we tend to follow the British pronunciation of any word (in majority) depends upon other Indias how they want to pronounce. This video is very much helpful for the ones who don't understand.
First of all, really Thank you for this video, I really like and enjoy Sherlock. And, practicing my english with lend and borrow, my sentences are: "Can I borrow you pencil?" "Of course I can lend you my pencil! Take it"
Thank you for your lessons. You are doing so INCREDIBLE JOB!!!!!!!😄❤️ It would be cooler if you make more lessons with this tv-series :) Thank you again😄❤️
Hi Ethan! You do a great job! Thank you very much! Your lessons are splendid! Please keep on doing it🤗 However, I'm a little bit upset because I figured out that Sherlock is quite difficult for me to get the whole dialogues even with your explanations. But I do believe it changes some day)))
I like this type of teaching method a bit easier to remember, your ormal method is also good just sometimes i have to rewatch it to repeat which is good but this one when you tell the meaning immediately maybe a little bit better for me
This was the first video of yours that i watched and in juss few minutes i was engaged.. i like it the way you explain and give examples.. Keep on good work sir

Thanks for your amazing work!! I lended capo to my friend. Hey! May I borrow your guitar?
I love sherlock. I've watched this series but sherlock's fast british accent was too difficult to understand for me.. Could you please make more videos on this series? And please explain sherlock's accent.
