a superb british royal family,specially the king richard's role very wvedell played all others too did very well.well done to the whole team. i loved every moment of the series.
Crazy to think the actress who plays Princess Eleanor actually marries into the royal family!! She’s married to Lord Fredrick Windsor, who is the son of Prince Michael of Kent!
Well you know it is a very strong cast full of folks who have had loads of experience on stage tv and film...the issues might be in the writing...idk yet but willing to give it a chance cause there are so many actors in it that I like a lot.

you know, if you head into watching this with the knowledge that it's going to be very unrealistic, and it's just a bit of fun, it's much more enjoyable! if you try to think of it as them saying this is how it really is, you'll hate it. if you see it as poking fun and playing around, it's much better.
+sprinklefriend This "parallel universe" idea is very weak compared with the novel "The Queen and I" where the UK becomes a republic and the Royal Family has to live in Council flats. The novel is hilarious, this, not so much.

He would've been groomed since birth that this was his destiny and while maybe he'd be 'set back' by the death of his father it's not as though he shouldn't have expected it. Maybe the next episode will improve but so far this is crap.

this fascination we have for a figurehead institution, all pomp and circumstance, blown all out of proportion, except for the tourists who come to bathe in the spectacle. Makes the rest of the crowned heads of Europe happy the constant spotlight isn't on them, and they can go on with the business of being head of state without too much interference.

All I can think about is what set designer would put the King's Crown on the pillow on his coffin not centered properly. Sorry folks but I hate things not centered properly. LOL
What horrible people and system; if I were a part of a Royal Family in this kind of situation and couldn’t change it, I’d happily give-up My right to the throne - and get as far away from all of it, as possible. Argh; it’s just so frustrating that Human greed, arrogance, ambition, egotism, narcissism, competitiveness, selfishness (…) mess up any/every System of Government possible - given time. …I feel as though - in This World, and with Humans as we are - there is no good-solution.
