According to initial investigations by the police, the 56 year old driver of a 12 tonne truck drove from Bad Lippspringe towards the motorway A33 at around 09.55 a.m. Approximately 500 metres before the junction Schloß Neuhaus, he cross the double lane markings to the left and got into two lane of oncoming traffic for reasons as yet unknown.
