So some years back I was told once you make a junk journal from old junk you then start to paint and collage and write on these pages. But I never find a video that anyone has done that. I'd love to see a second video of a worked in video.

I LOVE your junk journal. That, to me, is a junk journal. There are many made from beautiful download pretty paper called junk journals. There should be another name created for those type of journals. I really think yours fit the word called "junk".Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love that they can be left raw, or made very sophisticated and beautiful with one’s own artwork. Some stamps, glueing, sewing and talented painting can make the most beautiful journals.
All with non “art” supplies. I love, most of all, that it allows anybody to do it. Almost no money required.
This made me laugh with all the bits of vintage scraps in there. Perhaps because I have magazines and such that I just can't throw away from the 60s and up. They are so much fun to go back and look at. I think I will consider using some in a junk journal. Thanks for sharing!
I think ugly tie #2 is the absolute worst.

I made a junk journal out of junk as well. But yours is much fancier than mine I just used a old binder from thrift store and didn't make signatures. I love it though and I did make a video with it in . Loved yours I think that's the way they should be. Hugs Nola
Thanks Nola! I love using whatever materials I have on hand in my journals. Binders work great as covers for junk journals and give you the freedom to add pages as you need them. I'll check out your video!

I am new to junk journals and have a question. I can see that some pages can be written on but others have no space for words. Are those pages just for decoration? There seems to be a lot of them. I really like your take on them and learned a lot.
reddragun43 I generally will apply a light coat of gesso over pages for journaling or will add photos.
