I like Zack a lot, I find he has consistently good weapons and he often had different elements to Cloud with Falchion being wind and Black Whiskers being water based. I've not built any of his magic weapons and none of his limited ones yet, sadly, but having experienced characters wielding a good phys ability potency weapon I'm trying to build up Ceremonial sword Z. They hit very hard with these and they make great primary weapons as you can pair them with any elemental weapon then. I'll be more than likely be picking his ice costume during the anniversary as pressure ridge giving the ice res down at a high level and doing damage of that element as well is amazing. I've got a maxed out Bald Eagle from Lucia but that can just be used as sub weapon allowing this to do way more damage than using Lucia.
For me too Zack is a unit I do not really play he has good use with matk+pdef down weapon and now he got two main dps weapons for thunder and wind making him a dps for people who want As you said special mention for the beach parasol which I even used for my floor 100 clear showing how clutch it can be even today
I do think they may have designed Zack's early weapons with his solo campaign in mind. Thats probably why they wanted to give him such variety of effects.
I too have struggled to find that perfect place for Zack. I wish he were that magic DPS power house that Sephiroth is, or had some mechanic that completely separated him from Cloud. Where I have placed him is that his weapon catalog has some of the most useful buffs for the other DPS as sub weapons. So where as Tifa, for example is an amazing direct support, it’s like they made Zack an amazing indirect support. Hoping he gets something huge.
@@kimjrYT also, idk why this happens, but many times when I'm recording, i simply can't think as well as when I'm just casually playing. I think it's because I'm trying to focus on not making mistakes and my presence in the vid, it's like my mind shuts off another part to compensate for that. It's frustrating.

Yessss! It's not that he isn't good/useful, but I have a hard time finding his role in my lineups!

Yeah his lightning arcanum came with the monster hunter sword . I only have ob7 and it’s busted. I killed leviathan ex2 so fast lmao 😂
