Thank you for uploading this, MissMoreMusic! This was one of the first videos I watched when I was just becoming a big Milk Carton Kids fan. I admire how well-organized your channel is, with both the playlist of individual songs and the long film of the whole concert, and the businesslike suggestion to switch to HD lol - seriously, you're doing all the work to make it as convenient for viewers as possible.
Thank you so much for your comment. And yes, it is a good idea to go via the playlists to also ad able to watch songs of concerts that are not put on public view. This concert of the Milk Carton Kids was great. Still gaining energy from it. Glad you also enjoined. Shared joy one could say 😊
Fabulous not only those two guys have wonderful voices and play guitar with great feeling and technique but they also have incredible sense of humor I love it !! Thanks for sharing this great concert !
They're definitely getting there though ! Acoustic guitar magazine did a feature article on these guys , I never would've found out about them otherwise :)
These artists, for they can truly be called that, make you listen more intently to both their music and lyrics for fear you will miss something memorable. Sing on.
Wow, these guys have an absolutely beautiful retro sound. It takes me back to the mid 60's in the hey dry of folk duos like Simon & Garfunkel, Peter & Gordon, and Chad & Jeremy. So there IS some good music being made today by young people!!!
Lovely music, also the dialogue had me laughing between songs! 'I don't think many of you have jobs that get people to clap for you every 3 and a half minutes' GENIUS
these guys are amazing.. they can stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone . everyone name checks the Everleys and Simon & Garfunkel........ but what about Garfunkel and Oates??? these guys are great musicians but also seriously funny!!
sue cavanaugh: Easy to explain , in almost all european countries (Irish+Brit's as usual not really ) foreign languages are normal school program ! In most countries they start as 3rd graders, in some even as first graders. Later you start with second foreign language......BTW the name " Freiheiz" comes from the fact that this building was once heating plant
Rewatched this after watching it 3 months ago and love it so much. Did you film this whole concert yourself? Were they nice about letting you film it? How do all of the fans in Germany enjoy the music if they can't understand them? Or is it pretty much only English speakers that go? Thanks for this amazing concert! I'm going to see them four times between now and July. Yes, I am completely enchanted, in love with, and obsessed with their music!
I filmed, yes. And actually I did not ask :-) In Germany the people do tend to understand them, I guess. It's English speakers that go. Even though I don't think anyone expected them to be so funny. Glad you like it!

+smeltnight2002 Actually, Joey (left) tunes down a step. You can see this with their song "Memphis," played on open strings. I don't know what Kenneth tunes to.

So much great music from these two. Thanks!
Saw these guys in Leeds in the UK back in Jan before lock down. bloody brilliant if you get chance do go see them, your life will be better
Probably two of the most talented young musicians out there today. Real, raw talent that is hard to come by nowadays with "artists"
À

Absolutely love these guys and the surreal harmonies that they sing with. Really talented group that doesn't get the press that they should.

Sue C. - what? You've only watched this twice!?! I love their humour, almost as much as their music.

these guys great retro folk and better than the old days, I miss those days too, just can't get excited over Lady Gaga
Cryo837 There is a lot of good music made by young people, you just have to look beyond the billboard and radio hits.
real music ... live - just like it was ... like it is ... like it always will be.
the absolute loveliest
Love you guys so much.
amazing guitar and subtle beautiful harmonies
Great video! Thanks for posting the individual songs, too. Great quality.
So much fun to watch!
I am excited that I will finally get to see them perform in June (San Francisco)
Lovely music, also the dialogue had me laughing between songs! 'I don't think many of you have jobs that get people to clap for you every 3 and a half minutes' GENIUS
Fantastic. I love these guys.
Jon Nelson
love them! can't wait to see them for the second time!!
Incredible talent!
I've heard the introduction to 'Charlie' on two RUclips clips now - hilarious each time: Joey should do stand-up!
"Michigan" is my jam.
The best of all worlds
Thanks for posting this great performance!!!
I am quite amazed that my Bavarian compatriots understand American English so well.
Good stuff!
congratulations!
very nice song
Which one exactly? :-)
they are very good and very funny.

40:17 Michigan fave fave guitar riff and song xxx
Can anybody say Simon and Garfunkel(if that's even possible) well it is!!!........These guys are also awesome! 'Inside Llewyn Davis.'
J P no, Simone and garfunk are not dead no reincarnation going on. those are old foggies music. not even close

Mijn gedachten zijn zeer beperkt, beter dat ik die niet deel...

Simon & Garfunkel 2.0
It feels as though they might have had an argument before going on stage. Some of the exchanges between them are a bit uncomfortable.
That's just their banter. They're awkward with each other, but I myself like it.
sptfgpn no this is normal behavior pussy

hello smeltnight...high G is...GBDGBD
what is the tuning of the small guitar is it high G or dadgad ???????????????
+arnold jerone all of their songs are in standard
+arnold jerone high G only applies to ukes. that's a full-scale guitar. 1954 martin 0-15.

Pretty echoey
48:46 is blowing my mind. Dave Rawlings better than Dave Rawlings.
Very good indeed. Better than DR not sure but I they are both gteat.
I've really tried to like them.. but they are just so bland... like milk ironically. Undeniable talent, but no spark for me anyway.
