No matter how many times I've heard the songs and hear the intro to Charlie, there's always an impromptu comment or variation that makes me throw my head back in laughter. Every. Single. Time. To have that as stress relief on top of the impeccable, poignant music is a gift of the greatest magnitude.
May they succeed forever.
I just wanted to return to this video to post that I saw it back in 2012 while researching acts to see at SXSW. Thankfully I saw this and became a lifelong fan of The Milk Carton Kids. I've now seen them at least 15 times over the years.
I admit it, My current obsession is Milk Carton Music. So refreshing, well written well played, beautifully sung. Its difficult to find honesty in music, especially when it sounds this good. My wife and I are hooked on your songs, all of them.
The best ever. Beatles, C. Manson and Hank Williams Sr. all in one. Prove me wrong.💚💙🩵💙🩵🖖. 112th show. 4. You know, you know. #Dynamic duo...
2 guys who were meant to find each other. This is beyond Paul and John, beyond Mick and Keith, beyond Bone and Edge, beyond Elton and Bernie. Art and Paul are close, but I think TMCK have more of an actual heart connection.. This is a magic that can not be matched.
I has no idea that they were opening for OtR until they said Karen and Linford. Literally my favorite band, people, of all time since 94. I'm simply undone.
Ça fait du bien aux oreilles ...cela fait trop longtemps qu' on n'a pas eu des musiciens et chanteurs comme ces deux merveilleux talents :)
It feels good to the ears ... it's been too long that we did not have musicians and singers like these two wonderful talents :)
9 plus years !
When I first heard TMCK I thought their music sounded like a dream I had but couldn't remember. It still sounds like that every time I hear them. It helps me remember my dreams and I love it.
bravo from France
Please come again.
Saw these guys open for Chris Thile a year ago in Boulder....great performance.
Those both remember me to Simon & Garfunkel. So beautiful!
As I wrote to them after a show in Stoughton, WI - Their music is worth every note! Looking forward for another chance to see them live.
I just discovered these guys last night. Amazing. "Michigan" breaks my heart every time I hear it. So talented. Can't wait to see them live.
Wonderful awe inspiring music, just checked your schedule and see that you have no plans of coming to Florida. I don't blame you, Florida is a hot mess, but please consider a show either at Wanee Music Fest or the Capital in Clearwater. You are truly a treasure and I'm glad to see you are finally getting the recognition that you are so deserving of. Best wishes.
my goodness, and you're funny, too. i was home in Grand Rapids for the holidays and everyone was talking about you. looking forward to seeing you myself in the big city this weekend!
So much love, guys!! This is fantastic.
This band is amazing, so impressed. I hope to see you guys live some day.
I really like these guys. I will look them up on Pandora.
thank god you two combined your bands. cant wait to see you live
Saw you guys in Victoria, thanks for signing my wife's record! What a lot of people don't get to see/hear from youtubes and downloads is the hilarious comedy you two do between songs. Check these guys out live if you get the chance!!
Saw you guys at The Ark this Monday. BEST CONCERT EVER! One part Simon and Garfunkle, one part Everly Brothers, and one part Smothers Brothers. You guys are amazing and absolutely hilarious!
You guys are phenomenal! What talent!
I am telling everyone I know...
WOW!! You guys are AWESOME!!!!
Love it!
4:20-6:05 some of the best crowd talk ever!
Love your music, so Simon and Garfunkel. Got Prologue on vinyl, and it is on regular rotation.
Really wonderful music.
Just Great. Inspiring for our music.
EPIC.
amazing. thank you for putting this up!
Love these guys!!
Michigan puts me under every damn time.
Just found out about these guys. Awesome duo, and nice banter lol
just great
just incredible. as usual. see you guys in a few hours at Anthology!
Have a look at Matt Pound and Lieutenant Leek's Lies Not Love - an English equivalent (often playing to sparse audiences, too!); if the Milk Carton Kids are Americana, Lt. Leek are Britannia! Great stuff from both!
brilliant
Where have I been? I like these guys alot and just found them through a FB post. Awesome!
I'm thinking more Gary Louris/Marc Olson meets the smothers brothers. Love these guys.
Random comment. Just mentioning The Everly Brothers. That's also a good duo. They'd be proud too...
❤️😂❤️
Joey reminds me of a young arlo guthrie.
The dislike must have been insulted by the Michigan intro banter.
Something about your combined voices makes me think mandolin. Do either of you play one?
they look like Kristofferson and Ash from Fantastic Mr. Fox
empty theatre they are all at home watching the x faxtor ...their loss.
The new Simon and Garfunkel?
But they actually like each other. So much magic on one stage.
Saw you guys at FolkWest, Victoria today. You were great! Had a wonderful time. Bought both CD's. Then I found out I can download them for free. How would you like to work out the refund?
You do realize musicians have to make a living? For the price of three coffees you got music forever. And you helped a wonderful band continue to exist.
Simon and Garfunkel? no!! way better and kinky too
Gunnabee Kinky? LOL
Don't forget Simon and Garfunkel's kinky porno hit Homeward Bound and Gagged!! 😀😨
