  • This video compares the SansAmp BDDI Bass Driver and the SansAmp VT Bass DI with a focus on their drive tones.
    While a few demos of this exist, few directly compare these pedals' high-gain character back to back. I keep the EQ settings pretty flat throughout the demo to showcase the core character of each drive style.
    Want a deeper dive? Once you decide on the flavor you prefer, there's quite a few demos that showcase each individual pedal in more detail.
    The end showcases how each of these stack with a Fuzz pedal in front. I used the 903 Effects Evergreen Fuzz, which is a more versatile and modern take on the Tall Font Russian Muff.
    Gear Used: Danelectro DC59 (pick), into a DAC.

    It´d be interesting if you could compare the bass driver v2 with the VT bass driver

      I haven't had the opportunity to play through one of those yet. I assume it would be a closer comparison, with the addition of the mids knob.
