Have to add a comment now I've seen the prices Russell and wow! Very well priced actually. Our apartment which is in a luxury district of Istanbul, there's only myself and my wife, is 75 square metres, nowhere near as high tech as these, it's on a first floor of an 8 floor building. We bought it 20 years ago at a reasonable price but it's now selling for at least a million dollars. We couldn't afford to buy where we live today, so we were lucky as we are not super rich people !!

We also live in Turkey, but on the "other" side in Gemlik/Bursa with a direct view of the water.
We bought our apartment about seven years ago, the first floor of a four-story house with around 105m2 of living space.
Bought at an incredibly low price back then (emergency sale by the bank) and then renovated, it is now worth around eight times the price, according to brokers.
The apartments shown are of course phenomenal and in view
Given the location and amenities, it's not too expensive either.
Living in a skyscraper would be nothing for us...

I'd say that it's not affordable for most Russian people and even for most residents of Moscow, who happen to be richer than other Russian people. Maybe for higher management positions, people who can survive the capitalist rat race and want to be "on top". A worker who is lucky to be a very qualified specialist with a profession of high demand, with good mental health to survive in competitive environment, will spend most of their adult life to pay for this. And this place is not very warm. Maybe a good place to die from a suicide for person who seek the success in rat race. Or an another property for a really rich person who want another home near the city center or to brag that they live on Nth floor in an area for "successful people". These high rise buildings have very different vibes than me, probably this is very similar for the majority of citizens of Russia.

My fear of heights would not lend itself well to living that high up. Half of my family is Welsh - so I would prefer a nice hole in a hillside. 😀

There are similar apartments in central London and the price in London will be £2-3m pound sterling for the cheapest. You can get them cheaper out of central London somewhere in docklands and there they will be slightly cheaper £1.2m or so. Not really affordable for anyone in London with regular jobs or even well paid jobs. Some of these towers remain empty in London and are used by foreign investors to park their dirty cash. London is where dirty money is dumped into such apartments and nobody ever lives in them.

I like a nice apartment and panoramic windows. If I were some kind of businessman, I might have acquired it. Otherwise, I would have taken more land outside the city and built myself a cozy house with a garden where I could enjoy nature and clean air. And in the city, just get out to the shops and to work.🤔

Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed watching it! Oh, and just in case you were looking for some video ideas, here's one: a room tour of an appartment of Moscow renovation program (you know, the appartments the city gives in exchange of khrushevka buildings). And if you ever happen to visit the South of Russia, it would be a good idea to make a video about Krasnodar park (it's one of the best parks in the words, and I've visited 37 countries... I can compare it only with Marina Bay park in Singapore). In Russian it's called парк Краснодар / Парк Галицкого. It was built several years ago by an individual as a gift to the city (well, this individual is the founder of Magnit supermarkets chain). Great place to visit at daytime and in the evening when all the lights are on. Amazing place.

I've been aware of these tall buildings for a while, but not seen inside one like this. The apartments look really nice and considering how high they are and how central to Moscow they are, the prices are very fair. I know i'm being a bit nitpicky here, but for people that don't know Moscow, that area called Moscow city, is almost 5 kms away from where The Kremlin is. I usually just call it "The Moscow Business Center", rather than Moscow City.
I like the idea of apartment living, but I'm not sure I'd want to live that high up. For a better price, I'd pick a less iconic smaller new apartment complex but still with great views over the river.

The best video of Russell ... in history. The majority of apartment videos are fluff / hyperbole. As a serious buyer, I want facts -- not opinion ... meat and potatoes ... not cake with icing. If Russell produces more of these apartment videos, they would steer more traffic because food is food ... all the same ... regardless of the kitchen or plate it is shown on.
