I still have that song stuck in my head 😂 The update was a welcomed surprise, though, as I'm just finishing up Zelda: EoW and was thinking of getting back into Hades.
Great stuff! Xinth seems super interesting and fun and two more even gods to run into is great! Also the new boss is definitely challenging and really fun
When is this game actually supposed to be officially ‘out’? Such a weird way to release a game, by the time it’s on all platforms the hype will have gone.
This is exactly how Hades and Baldur's Gate 3 were released. It's not weird, it's a fantastic way for them to listen to player feedback and make the best game possible. The hype thing has also been repeatedly proven wrong, a great game getting it's "full release" drums up huge amounts of attention and convinces more people to play it when the early access fans spread word of mouth.
Hades 1 and Baldur’s Gate 3 were in early access for years, and yet their 1.0 releases still EXPLODED and had so much buzz around them. A good early access period is a huge boon for marketing.
Lol? What games have you been playing? It's perfectly normal for an indie game to release to the public in an early access state. It's nearly the industry standard for indie games actually, cause most Indies I've seen and played have all released in Early Access after coming out of Beta. If you want to wait for full release, that's cool, but don't rain on other's parades just cause you don't understand it.
@@stars_and_lattes3078 actually 99% of games, indie or otherwise, have no early access. I’m not stopping anyone from playing it, but I maintain it’s an odd marketing strategy for a huge sequel. There was trailer released a year ago, there is still no official release date, yet the game is basically available to buy and play for anyone with a PC. It’s objectively unusual, especially for a single player sequel.
1:10 that short look down, followed by an instant reaction was just perfect 😂 We really know what Super Giant are doing, they ain't sleek.
Haha they know exactly what they are doing 😂

No time like the present!
