Mr Woo has such immense knowledge on the Leica M, hearing his explanation makes one understand the story behind the evolution on different generations of M and the reason behind it
Thank you Mr. Woo for an excellent informative review. This is the first time someone explained the depth of field notches. These were only found on the M3’s and M2’s. In my many years of shooting with them I seldom used the depth of field notches. As you gain experience you can gage the depth of field. I still prefer the M2 and M3 since I use mostly 50, 35 and rarely the Tele Elmarit. When I use a 28mm I use the whole view finder image on the M2 which just works fine. Would like to see him review the original MP with Leicavit and M2R
Thanks for the video. I got rid of all my Leica cameras, except the MP. My feeling is that Leica has always employed great engineers who had no affinity with actual photography. It was the technology that counted. And then came the electronics. A disaster.
Amazing !! so much knowledge. Thank you!!!
That’s my jam. It good to know about M2/M3 Quick Load Kit. Thank you, John, and thank you Mr Woo.
Another fabulous presentation. 👏🤣🤣
Great - love these Wooisms ... 🦘

Thanks for sharing your know how.
I don't own a leica but I own a Canon 7 and have used a Leica M3 in the past, and I can admit that the Leica M3 felt amazing and sounded great
Para mí no hay mejor cámara Leica que la fantástica M3.
Llevo años fotografiando con ella y siempre me sorprende.
Muchas gracias por su video Mr Woo..

Mr. Woo does it again!
As for the Leicas, in my opinion, the M2 is the best M film camera, better than the M3.
