- Hugh reveals insights into his character Etienne, the emotional growth with Marie-Laure, and the profound theme of finding light in darkness. He also praises co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Aria Mia Loberti, discussing their warmth and skill in bringing the father-daughter relationship to life. Don't miss Hugh's thoughts on the WWII story's message of hope and human bonds transcending conflict.
All the actors were amazingly talented. They were brilliantly cast to resemble the characters in the book perfectly. The actress who played Marie was brilliant, as were Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie. A beautiful interpretation of the book. As usual, the book was better than the movie, but the movie was beautifully done.
Hugh Laurie does an incredible job.
Great performance !
J aime cet homme ❤
I love this actor
MARYE from California
I really enjoyed this mini series! Also great to see a disabled character played for a disabled person.
For me you will always be Greg House
Didn't it Rain? This man's talent knows no bounds.
Love that movie ❤
Love this movie
Painful movie...hard to process one humans illogical hatred of others.
Laurie & Ruffalo gave powerful performances I appreciated. I hope movie opens some eyes and hearts.
I'll never understand the hatred.
I thought he was a very cool character. A retired soldier who still served his country until his dying breath.
I thought the acting was spot on
