I adore this series. The acting was amazing, that it felt very real. As a German, I usually avoid Nazi movies. Too depressing. But this was very well done and portrayed that not all Germans were evil. Most soldiers do not want to kill anyone.
Lars Eidinger is so great!
He is amazing in Babylon Berlin, one of my favorite actors
Lars was playing such an evil and deranged charecter and so convincigly so that it's almost surprising to see how gentle he is as a person.

Lars was definitely a stand out! I don't think Adam Driver would have done it better!
he might have brought the right intensity, but, looks-wise, he would have been miscast as a German Officer.
Why? (I don't know the series.)
@@ADavid42Alexander Scheer would also have been very suitable. He can be extremely intimidating in his roles and is one of the best actors in Europe.

Lars Eidinger seems so kind and smart
Lars comes across as a really nice guy!
But his self-confidence isn't entirely genuine either. He emphasizes that he is actually shy and insecure. But he always plays very intensely. He also takes part in many artistic projects on the side. In music videos, art projects, theater films, etc.
Please just watch this series for its beauty and depth! Stop making book comparisons. Film is its own art form, and directorial choices make this limited series masterful. Critics are making comparisons between apples and oranges. Viewers love this masterpiece!
Lars Eidinger IS a major actor. Propably the best actor our time
Lars is such a good actor, so underrated, I loved his work I just had to watch his other work, I highly recommend Persian Lessons where he also plays a Nazi officer
Out of all the actors in the series, Lars is at the top. His acting was truly superbly unbelievable.

I first read the book 7 years ago and after finishing it, I remember I had wanted so much for it to become a film. I’m so happy it did. I’m so happy I got to see this beautiful story unfold on screen. This series is so masterfully done and brought out the same swell of emotions I had from reading the book.
I love that the three leads are not big names. I did watch the trailer because Mark Ruffalo was in the thumbnail 😂 but then I ran to read the book, and then waited months to see the series and fell in love with the cast ❤ awesome, loving, job
Not a big name in the US, but L. Hoffman is known worldwide for the Dark series. L. Eidinger is a big name in German-speaking countries and France.

I resent watched All the Light we Can not See. It was so inspiring to me. It brought me hope through this difficult time that me and my family are going through. You did a famnomal job of casting Aria Mia Loberti as the lead. She was extraordinary in her role. I hope in the future you continue to use people that have disabilities. To see someone like you on T.V. make you think that anything is possible if you believe. Thank you for shining your light by telling this story.

So glad I clicked the play button for that 1st episode before watching videos like this. Going in “blind” is the best way to do it. I immediately recommended to my mom and sister, who both loved it too.

Hopefully Lars Eidinger doesn‘t have to play german nazis too often. He is a fantastic actor with a wide range of characters to play. View the roadmovie „25 km/h“ for example.
I've only ever seen him in Sense8 and he was excellent in that!
Don't pass on Persian Lessons, he plays a Nazi in that one and it's SO GOOD

Wonderful series and great acting...so different and yet so relatable...couldn't wait to see how it ends.
I’ve really enjoyed Lars acting I actually felt sorry when he died he was definitely multidimensional just like we all are we’re not just evil or angelic we are everything. Oh and I ❤ Mark he truly embodied the father figure with Ari both her younger self and the older everyone shined literally everyone I just wish the screenplay was written a little differently
I avoided reading the book because I avoid anything having to do with that evil subject. Yesterday I decided to watch the movie because I knew I could turn it off if it was too difficult to watch. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie! It was so well written and acted! The ending showed great hope! From an elderly movie addict.
The Cast was wonderful. Is a pity that the change the story of the book. I would have loved to see these actors in the original story
I still don't understand why this series was so butchered by Rotten Tomatoes (like:why?). The acting was ok, maybe the script? 🤔
