  • Just some plotholes that I noticed while watching the Dragon Prince.
These two (technically three) I noticed without really thinking about it.

*Really interesting video! I never really considered how useful the historia viventum spell could be from an in universe perspective. But totally! 😄 I've noticed this plot hole that's really big and it's got to do with the key of Aaravos and I've been sitting on it for like 6 years and one of these days I'm going to finally make a video about it. I keep waiting for them to explain what it is and what it does before I make the video though but it looks like it's going to be pushed into the final season!* 🤣

      Hey Thanks for watching!
Luckily, you won't need to wait too long. Looks like Season 7 will be coming out this December.

Okay long comment in coming here we go:
1st one: The way the Historia Viventum spell works is that you go to the place where you want to see what happened, I think it's fair to assume that the Moonshadow elves didn't just go to the StormSpire for the Sole purpose of casting the spell to see what happened, if you think about the culture, it's either you fight until you die or run away as a traitor, and seeing as they were still alive but the egg was gone, you can definitely just assume they ran away
2nd one: I don't think they ''sensed'' Rayla's presence I'm pretty sure Aaravos just heard her, then blasted her back and just thought she'd be dealt with so didn't really pay too much attention to her anymore
3rd one: Aaravos knows Viren isn't actually dead anymore, so TECHNICALLY Rayla didn't actually kill him

Okay, I could see an argument for not using Historia Viventum. Especially since Moon Shadow Elves can tell if someone is dead or not.
2nd is more difficult to swallow though. You can NOT make an assumption that someone has been dealt with unless they were incapacitated. In Rayla's case, she was just disarmed. If she had broken a limb or seemingly been knocked out, that would be an argument towards her being 'out.'
3rd, I don't know if 'undoing' her action is a way to conclude that she never actually did it or that she wouldn't do it again.
