Hi Nigel, this will make a great memorial build in memory of your friend Wendy Hickson, I wish you all the very best for this build, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Hi Nigel, That's a great kit and a nice gesture in memory of Mrs. Hickson. I hope that you will show the full build, this kit looks so cool. Good continuation👋🏻
I’m predominantly a wooden ship modeller but often watch other forms of modelling. This is a great tribute. Although the plane is a bit of an odd one. I guess the Royal Navy must of had a use for it though.
Hi Nige. I think I started watching your channel around the time Wendy gave you the Gannet kit, or maybe when you built the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire which you gave her because she loved your model so much. Why do we lose the really kind people so early? Anyway, I hope Wendy is loving her own set of folding wings up there now. God bless her. 😊
Hi Nigel, excellent idea. I also love that kit and am about to start it myself. Please make sure we see your build on your channel as well and not only on Facebook. Many thanks and keep up your excellent work and channel. James (Luxembourg)
Nigel, hi would have asked Dr Alex about the history of 847 squadron for you, but he is in the middle of moving and all his books are packed up. If he has unpacked by the time you get to painting he might be able to answer your stripes question.
Dear Nigel, There are those who leave this world having given more to it than they received from it. Wendy was such a person. I imagine that she would undoubtedly have been thrilled and delighted with this tribute. Has the rules been different, I would have dedicated my Corsair to her. Regards, Z
Hi Nigel. No doubt your build of this will be brilliant. As for Quinta Studios cockpit stuff. Yes they are decals of a sort. You remove them from the backing paper just like any other decal by putting them in warm water. But, you have to glue them onto the model. Use either CA or PVA glue to glue them down. Richie at RW Hobbies channel did a short tutorial video on how to apply them.
A fine tribute for Wendy a fine lady with a big heart.👍

Hello Nigel, fantastic way to honor Wendy. Hope you decide to show the entire build. It may help you get your mojo back. Take care.
I agree with the comments said & the kit itself will be a great build I'm sure.
