I’m a fan of Squeeze, but haven’t heard any of their modern music or seen them live. The other recent albums and acts sound like they’re worth investigating as well. Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays!
Hey man! Sorry to hear about the slipped discs . Good to see another video though. Pain Killer is a great album. I’ll have to check out that Squeeze album. I love that Sabbath album! I just picked up that Stone Fury album a few months ago. Agree with you on Kingdom Come. NY Dolls, great 2nd album. Happy Holidays & Cheers 🎄
Cheers, Bobby. I saw Kingdom Come at Giants Stadium in NJ back in '88 with Van Hagar, Metallica, Dokken etc and they were a great live band. Happy holidays!
I got into Rosalie Cunningham when you showed her first album back in the day and had a lot of trouble getting hold of a copy but finally managed to. When the second one came out I couldn't get it at all and now the 3rd one came and I finally ordered 2 and 3 from her website (I didn't before because I no longer live in England and didn't want to pay the sometimes big import fees). The website said they wouldn't be sent until the new year because she's on tour but they came last week, so that was a nice early Christmas present! (and there were no fees this time).
I'm glad I turned you on to some great music! RC's albums do have a habit of selling out pretty quickly, especially the limited coloured vinyl pressings. Import fees have become a real pain since Brexit, but for some artists it's worth the extra cost. Thanks for your support in 2024.
Great video as ever..blah..blah..blah...I always keep a tally on albums I own that you discuss..four on this particular video (Squeeze, Rosalie Cunningham, New York Dolls, U2). I'm sure you get plenty of recommendations with each post..so here's mine for this one - Bobbie Dazzle "Fandabidozi" on Rise Above records...it's a heavier, glam rock Rosalie Cunningham and my album of the year for 2024..Merry Crimbo, all the best for 2025
Funnily enough, Bobbie Dazzle supported Rosalie Cunningham when I saw her at the Lexington. An interesting mix of hard rock and seventies glam. I'll have to give the album a listen.
Maybe that's why the Dave Matthews' Lillywhite Sessions remains unreleased: the record company thought it wasn't shite enough. Can't say I'm in a rush to check out the DMB back catalogue. Happy Hanukkah Mazzy. 🕎 ☮️
Interesting! Most of these lps I am not aware of. I wiil check them out on the internet and give them a listen. Thanks for the reviews.
My pleasure. Hope you hear something you like!

Don't hold back on seeing Squeeze live if you get the chance. They were fantastic!

The Dave Mathew’s Band is boring shite. But that album peaks my interest. Happy Xmas 🕊️🎶🎸❤️🔥

Deep Feeling = Jim Capaldi = Traffic
Are you saying that you think they sound alike, or is there a Jim Capaldi link to Deep Feeling that I'm unaware of?
