Hi. I'm Mr Shelf-Stacker; so-called because my shelves are stacked high with vinyl. Of course, I don't really stack my records and nor should you: shelve them vertically if you know what's good for them.

I've been collecting records for 40+ years. Sometimes I might show the odd CD, but mostly vinyl is what's on offer here. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but I do play my records on the best vintage hi-fi gear I can afford. I owe them that.

My favourite genres are Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Psychedelia, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Power Pop, and a bit of Soul, Funk, Punk and Reggae when the mood takes me. The first single I remember buying with my own money was Love Is Like Oxygen by The Sweet, but I'm pretty sure there's a David Soul 7" lurking in my past. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to music, there's no such thing as a guilty pleasure. What's there to feel guilty about? Man up already!
