I bought my MicroFreak kinda on a whim, but it’s becoming one of my favorite tools! Paired with my octatrack for FX, I’ve done a lot of work it’s just that. And they keep improving it!
Man, you made my evening. Thank you for mentioned about Automation Clear - I didn't found it in Manual, didn't found it in tons of other tutorials, Thank You!
The DSP processor in this synth is freakin' NUTS. Thanks for making the automation function so easy to understand and configure. The uFreak is deff'ly one of my favorite synths. I like to think of the uQ from Waldorf as the 'Freak's' predecessor but Arturia really stepped this bitch up!
Thank you for making this video, I’ve been looking for a break down of this part of the micro freak since I bought it a few months ago and I finally found your video! Great work!
The Microfreak is a great synthesizer, I started experimenting with it a few months ago and making JAMs so it is very complete no matter how you look at it.
Thats really cool. Ive had mf for 2 yrs and didn't know this. Makes me wonder what else I'm missing out on. I had the manual printed and bound and now I'm thinking perhaps I should actually read it.
Last week you did OP-1 audio track recording and my comment was “this is really easy on the Deluge too” so you made a great video on the Deluge audio track recording. So, here is a suggestion for next week 🙂: this automation lane recording on the micro freak is also really easy on the Deluge.. you can record one button (both stepwise, by pressing a pad and turning the knob) or real time (play with record on and tweak the knobs). You can clear individual knobs. So the Deluge has as many automation lanes as it has parameter knobs, works both for synth and sample tracks.
I actually film my videos farther in advance than you might think haha. I already have one done on the basics of deluge automation, I don't like to focus too much on one piece of gear at the same time though, got to spread the love! Thanks for watching :)

Yeah, it's the synth that keeps on giving haha. I wonder what they'll add next!
I bought a Microfreak last summer, and as a synth newbie your videos have been the single best resource for me!
Glad to hear it, anything you'd like me to cover that I haven't yet?

Glad I could help!
I searched how to remove a seq automation lane but then you showed me a feature i didnt know that he is excist! Thank u ;)
Thanks for watching!
Wow! That's so much easier than the manual makes it look! Very cool! Great job!
I definitely agree, I think that's why I'd always avoided hahaha. Turns headed super simple!
Manual !? Mine didn't come with a manual, just a quick start flyer.
Everything is super easy on the Microfreak. It's all obvious shorcuts and barely any menu. Incredible how much they cram into such a simple interface.
Best video , i just got that 3 days ago , thanks bro
Awesome! Have fun with it, thanks for watching :)
This is automation lanes, is the feature I have not mastered yet. Thanks for the great tutorial 😊
Thank you!
My first thought was "can you automate type?" And hell yeah you can!
Absolutely!

Glad you liked it!
which camera do you use man?
An older Panasonic model, can't remember the exact one and I'm not in the studio right now sorry!
@@FreeBeat thanks, can you rocemmend on some cheap camera for this type of video shooting?
Good use of hand gestures . Eventually you will not need to speak , we will simply read your hands .
Hahaha the ultimate end goal
Can the micro freak play multiple sequences simultaneously? I bought the korg bass but now I’m thinking I could’ve just bought the micro freak.
It can't play more than one sequence at the same time, but each preset can have two sequences stored to it.
Is this is also called “motion” on other equipment?
Yup!
