You can arrange the paraphonic voices to play a chord type by clicking and holding the paraphonic button and playing a chord. The paraphonic button will light up and blink. Now when you press a key a chord with that note as the root will play. If you combine this with the options for setting the key and scale you will force the microfreak to play the "right" chords for that key and scale. So if you are in the key of C major and set a M7 in paraphonic mode, when you hit an A key it will play a Am7.
You can make it so that you need to click the patch knob after twisting it to change the patch - which prevents a lot of accidental changes. It’s in the settings somewhere.
Excellent tips on the best little beast. The MF is capable of much more than we really know and with an open source for updates we never know what’s coming next. Brilliant synth in its own unique way thank you for your valuable inputs and tips 👌👌👌👌
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾 Brilliant and really simply explained. Getting something harmonic and basically musical to come out of the Mf once in unison is something I've struggled with 👏🏾👏🏾

I was not so convinced this might be for me. But you got me at the end with your fake reverb ... that's just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant video, thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Everytime I think i get to the limit of ny microfreak i find a video or a channel like this and discover so much more. Thanks so much 👍

That's so helpful, thank you! Found it in the manual: "Press Utility>Browsing>Click to Load to change this setting"

Late to the party here, but there were a couple of really interesting tips here. Thanks for sharing.
I've had microfreak for almost a year now and I'm using it a lot and I've just found out it has unison. Wow. Thanks
Hasn't been around for long, (update 3.0), i wonder what else will be coming :)
woooow it opens up so many possibilities(especially the reverb simulation), great video with very detailed explanations. Keep up the good work !!!!
Dude your channel is amazing your vital and helm tutorials and patch videos have helped me heaps get going with the content
That was great. Thanks!
Great one! This new feature is a killer!
Great tip modulating the unison split amount, great trick to use in an evolving ambient patch.
perfect explanation. Thought that unison count was from the root note up. now i know why it was impossible to play in tune with unison
Great video! Awesome tips!
You can actually play in tune with unisson mode by changing the root note in the utility menu 👍 Nice video
Thanks for this, interested to try this out.
really, really helpful video - thank you.
Fantastic, ill be referring to this for my sets!
Great tips. Thanks mate!
Aight this is cool. Like, really really cool.
ahh thanks, it was always seemingly atonal so this helps. Cheers!
Very helpful. Thanks my friend!
Excellent , thank you
Just thank you !!
You only need to hold down the Paraphonic button, you'll still be able to change the unison spread after letting go of shift.
