Oh nice this is a much better workflow. Auto chop would be great but even if it could resample and use this method to chop so it doesn't need to be played from an external source. Some way to auto start the sample playing too so you don't need a third hand. Scratch effect is really nice too
@@xairvideo yeah we can wish for auto chop, time stretch and so on, but a proper lazy chop feature should be pretty easy to implement and that would do it for me at the moment. Got plenty to learn on this device anyway 😅 Discovered the scratch thing by accident when messing around and it actually works really well
Agree, it's a shame more people don't get the opportunity to enjoy it. For me, I know how much joy the OP-Z and OP-1 has given me, and with the same excellent build quality as the field I’m certain that the XY will give me many years of pleasure.
Nice work around, though not perfect, because every time you switch keys you lose a bit of the audio from the sample. Hopefully they provide a way to lazy chop without having to use a work around like this.

@@F_letc.h yeah it’s definitely not a substitute for a proper lazy chop, but it can keep us busy in the meantime 😊
Which sample engine did you use?
@@relative_vie the drum engine, it might work in the multisampler as well, but haven’t tried it
