Goddamn this was sick ! I'm 45 and I wany what I use to have back in the late 80's to early 90' s I want to build my dream mini truck.. This is amazing work !
Nice. I do have a question though. Do you clear coat it or is the paint left to the elements? I just have not found a clear that doesn't make the Sharpie paint pens bleed. If you know of one that'd be awesome for the skateboards I paint.
I clear everything. I used satin clear on this truck. I had the same results when I sprayed the clear on too fast/heavy. The trick is to do lighter coats and build up
@@floatingfocus5502 Thanks much! I will give that a try. I usually give a light coat followed by a heavy after 30 minutes but I'll try 3 or so lighter coats. Then maybe give it 24 hours before doing a heavy coat just to be safe. Thankfully I have only completely ruined 1 board that way. The rest I was able to fix. Every artist has their favorite canvas. Mine just happens to be skateboards.
@@floatingfocus5502 Damn it, I'm in west Texas. Would of been nice! I have 5 more years to retire from the Army and I am wanting it done. Badass job on all the graffiti. Be safe out there. God Bless!
@@floatingfocus5502 Rainbow flake it over top, be careful with the flake, as soon as you add it in the clear in your gun spray it ASAP or the color will vanish.
@@floatingfocus5502 Oh wow, I've never heard of that, dry flake gun. If you spray it dry what's going to make it bite and settle before you apply enough layers of clear to cover it all?
Been Mini Truckin for 30 years and this is probably the Sickest Paintjob I've seen or at least in the top 5.
Thanks so much!
Wow...I LIKE IT
I LOVE IT!!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GIFT WITH THE WORLD!!!!
Omg! Lovvveeeee!!

Thanks! I’m trying to make some cool stuff
@@floatingfocus5502 keep it up man that’s some sweet artwork. Wish I had time to do something similar
@@floatingfocus5502 ever wanted to drift it? Man that’d look awesome sideways
@@JeremyMichaelJordanDIY it’s not my truck and it wouldn’t do much drifting with the stock 4 cylinder in it haha
@@floatingfocus5502 ohhh ok just curious. Hey they look light, ya never know.
I hope there are no rude words in that graffiti. Because if there are, you’ll basically be driving around in an obscene publication.
There aren’t any letters or words in it at all, so no worries
Dude , are you the police ! Man enjoy the truck and shut the hell up
So bad ass
🥇🏆💯
Man that shit is amazing
Phillip Taylor 🙏 Thank you!

Damn good work and are those Escort headlights?
Thank you!
I think they might be escort lights. I can’t say for sure, but the grille had been modified to make them fit
What kind of pen should we use? Where to buy online?
Sharpie paint markers. They are easy to find online
What marker do you use for it?
I used Sharpie paint markers
How much to have a truck done?
Were are you located? I have always had an military graffiti idea for a motorcycle paint job.

Do my lifted truck
Clear it and polish it
It was satin cleared, but it doesn’t look like this anymore

@@s.c.o.t.t.7743 the new owner of the truck re-painted it different. I don't mix flake with the clear because I have a dry flake gun.

@@s.c.o.t.t.7743 you apply a coat of clear and then blow the flake into it. It’s made by Flake King.
