my girlfriend is a real estate agent here in ny and when someone ask her if she knows an agent let's say for example in florida , she gladly say yes because no matter the estate she will get $2000 commision... i see how all this real estate agents works they are like mafia

I don't feel this was as information as described. Also, you mentioned a sales agent has 4 years, that's not really true. A sales agent has 2 years before their licensing expires. Possibly mentioned the conditions for an extension, or that you have to become a broker.
I'm sure it's different for each state. I'm in Colorado, and I recently took a 168-hour course(Education requirement for Colorado). I haven't passed the exam yet, but I have taken it. I was 4 points off from passing. Anyway, here in Colorado, there are some differences. In this state, you automatically have the title of Broker. Not sales person/agent. There are 3 tiers, actually. Associate Broker, Independent Broker, and Employing Broker. Here, you have to be an associate broker for 2 years before you are eligible to do the other two I mentioned. Also, the brokers license here in Colorado expires every 3 years. So, yeah. Each state is different.
