I was watching this and when you pulled over to give your pros and cons, I thought Hey! That looks like Balls Falls in Jordan! lol. Then you said it was... I grew up in Lincoln and lived in all the little towns back there and have lived in BC for the last 25 years! I can't believe I recognized the area! I'm so glad I watched your RUclips! That made my day!
I live in Grimsby and do most of my short rides here. Highways 8 to St. Catharine through Lincoln is a standard ride. Often I’ll go to get beers in Lincoln at the Avondale, even though there are closer stores just so I can get out and ride. Sometimes I turn on Effingham road or 25 south towards Fenwick and explore the backroads. I’ve even ridden some of the Bruce Trail east of Beamsville (it’s private and the owner allows dirt bikes). Pretty nice riding here in the Lincoln/Niagara area. Im glad this made your day. Cheers!
Thanks for the video. Last year I rode from Chicago to CA up to WA and back and the only complain I had was the windscreen...I will get one but I was surprised about the finish. I will let you know if mine is better/worse.
Now that it’s a bit older, this screen’s imperfections don’t bother me anymore. It functions well and the bugs cover the ugly bits. Thanks for watching!
The Rallye screen on that bike is design for off-road. It’s so that the tall screen isn’t hitting you on the helmet while riding uphills and climbing over logs... but it sucks for longer touring.
I think when I purchased this screen there was only 1 option.... other than tint... but I measured this screen for you. Down the centre, it’s 17 inches tall. I hope that helps.
12masterr They came is the set. But there is no instructions or explanation of what they are. I used the very basic and poor instruction diagram and I had a very hard time figuring it out. Not only that but also the diagram doesn’t show those spacers and there is no instruction anywhere to indicate that that is what they are used for. And if you follow the diagram on a GSA bike you quickly notice that the bottom crews don’t fit. Very poor instructions...

Nice video! Thanks
001011 1011101 Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. Cheers.
I dont understand why the ADV version of F850 does not have a touring style taller screen than the base model. The old f800gsa had a bigger screen.

Thanks. Is this the sport touring version or the 23 inch touring version.

So,do the spacers come in the kit or is something you have to get?

I bought it directly from Touratech. From their Canadian website. Cheers.
