Hi Nicolai. Thank you for sharing all the info. I subscribed to your channel as I am very happy to find a channel dedicated to Ducati Multistrada. One question about the windscreen. Does it fit a MS 1200S ?

      Hi Lense Bits!
Firstly thanks for supporting my channel!
The Touratech screen will fit on your 1200s!
      See on shop.touratech.com
See under Vehicle equipment - Fairing & windscreens - there you will find it!

Could you please do a review of the crash cages as well as the fog lights in terms of light quality especially at night and function (e. g. Foglights only work when high beam is off etc)? 😇

@@spokewanderer oh for sure... in both ways ^^
My dealer does not have the parts in stock and I don't want to spent >1000€ blindfolded.

Hi Nicolai. I am pleased to see a dedicated channel for MTS 950! Great job!
I was considering the Touratech screen, but I ended buying the Ducati touring vers. Did you had the chance to do a comparison between these two?

    • @spokewanderer
      @spokewanderer  3 года назад +1

      Hi Iulian!
Not yet but soon as the weather alows it I will do a comparison with - Original vs Touratech vs Puig Sport windscreen.
Including without spacers and with the Iconic Parts spacers.
I am waiting also for the Palmer Products adapter (currently stuck in customs - Damn Brexit)
I hope in the next 2 weeks I can make the review in detail!
      Stay Safe!!!

@@spokewanderer I am curious about the Touratech and the Ducati touring screens, so if you consider a test with the latter let me know.

I will check with the Ducati Community in my area! Some have Multis - not sure about the windscreen - thought!
But you made me curious as well!

Nice review. I’ve done my research and decided to go with a Puig touring screen. I really don’t like the crease on the Touratech. My question is do you think either the iconic spacers or Palmer Products screen adapter would significantly improve the performance of the Puig screen, or any other screen for that matter?

      Thank you!
Well, i have both iconic spacers for original and aftermarket screens.
I also tried the Palmer products screen adapter - with the Puig sport screen. With the Palmer you have more adjustability in regards of closer to you or further away in angle. At the moment I have iconic spacers with the original screen. Works excellent for me.
In my opinion both brands would work with the Puig touring screen. It's also a question of price.
Its difficult to answer as what works for me, might not work for you.
      Safe Rides!!!!!

Thanks for your response, that’s helpful information. I also would like to know what made you decide to install bar risers. We’re you having issues with discomfort?
Did they make a difference in the bike’s performance? I am the same height as you and had risers on a previously owned BMW and am considering adding them to my 2019 950s (the best bike I’ve ever owned)@@spokewanderer

      @@johncaldwell895 a clear yes!
In original configuration two fingers of my right hand fall asleep, sometimes the whole hand.
With 30mm it is much better.
But with the 2" (51 mm) from Rox Speed FX it is totally eliminated and hours of riding is such a joy.
One thing - they need to be checked regular if the bolds are still tight.
Unfortunately I can't mount them legally here in Germany, and getting a special approval would be too expensive.
I will soon release a video about this subject with all the details and examples.

Hello, very good video ! Can you tell me how tall are you ? Because i'm 6.2 feet and with the puig windshield witch tallest than the touratech, i have many turbulences on the top of helmet...
I wonder if this one (witch is a bit smaller) it's better because of the shape ?
