In the starting this machine (d.c.motor & flywheel) is in stand still condition, when the motor is connected with electricity it starts rotating with respect to limit of speed controller, as being mounted on one shaft flywheel is also rotating with same speed of motor, where energy is being stored under various factors; here direction of energy is from utility to motor and motor to flywheel as inertia.
When machine is operating at desired speed its utility is switched off.
Now in this typical situation flywheel is rotating due to inertia, which is also operating to d.c. generator (previously this equipment was d.c. motor) for producing electricity to glow bulb/s but decreasing light with every moment due to reduction in speed of d.c. generator/ flywheel; in this case direction of energy is from flywheel to generator and generator to bulb.
Brilliant observation my good friend .when he gets that generator spinning with no power input .forsay running on magnets alone . Then you got something.your going to open some yes and then their will be some people skurring for the phone to summon a hit man man.! ! !

Nice experiment bro. But what is the explanation for resistor regenerated during breaking, when you're trying to utilize the regenerated power... I mean ways to reduce this resistance... Any idea?
The only way to reduce resistive losses is by using Copper cables and wires as thick as possible everywhere + achieving the state of super conductivity

No. The batteries to be connected in series should have a same Ah value

Don't. Just get an old treadmill for free. These 1.5HP PMBDC motors are used in treadmills. They are plentiful.

You can get motors out of all kinds of junk .tred Mills . exercises machines .I find this stuff all the time . Don't buy it people throw it away.put an add on computer will pick up junk fo free .and slam you will be getting a ticket for having too much junk in your yard

just hook up a battery or supercap bank instead of a bulb or grinder.
that energy is actually stored in that flywheel simmilar as a capacitor it will charge and deliver more power than input for a short time
you can power that motor lets say with 200W sollar panel and connect 1000W angle grinder to it so you can grind something for short time untill flywheel stop generate needed power, then you can wait untill it pick up speed (charge it self) and continue to grind and repeat that proces
(angle grinder consumes 1000W only when its loaded if it spinns frearly it consimes minnimum power)

Can you connect the motor to a battery to measure how fast and how much the motor can recharge the battery from a spinning state to a braked state?
Voltage is very high, a buck converter would be needed.
