Whether its Deftones, Team Sleep, or Crosses, there's always that haunting element in the songs. Some songs very visceral, feel like your flying 20,000ft in the air, very Cure-like, then other other songs with Sabbath-like riffs makes you feel like you've smashed the earth dropping from 20,000ft after losing your wings. Great stuff, man.
I feel like Chino is the only musician who keeps gradually getting better and better. To see him be able to expand out to so many other things is a talent growing extinct.

Why did I wait so long to check this out. Deftones is one of a few bands (Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, [Ozzys] Black Sabbath, to name a few) who consistently put out whole albums of nothing but greatness. If this song is a good indication of the rest, I will be adding them to my playlists. I hope Chino never retires. And that in our 70's he still rocks out 🤘🏻💜🔥💀

My sister introduced me to this band via this song and now I've searched out everything they've done. I'm a fan of stuff like this and Blaqk Audio more than I was Deftones, so I'm glad to see stuff Chino does that's great; sadly Deftones were too drunk to perform my favorite songs, so they really disappointed me. I am definitely gonna try seeing these guys live next year.

Muffin Man I have heard 10"s out bump my 12"s...personally I think 12"s move more air with low frequency bass than 10s can...obviously meaning they make my rearview twerk like Miley...all subs are different, especially depending on what type of box your using. Personally I think 2 10s in a sealed box have much more punch and provide great kicks and high frequency bass, but they max out easily when it comes to low frequency bass. But I have my 12s in a bandpass box, so they hit those extremely low bass notes very well. They obviously aren't as punchy as 10s, but I've always had 12s and I'm happy with them. Ive got a buddy who swears by 15s..which aren't as punchy but can handle even lower frequencies than 12s....everyone has their own preferences...mine has always been 12s..but it all boils down to what YOU think makes your music sound best...
