Found out about Feels Like You a month after it was released, and sadly the Vinyl of it had been sold out by then. With that said, the album has been in Heavy rotation for me over the past year and it Def is my shoegaze album of 2010s.

@@michaelarredondo6401 yeah, I noticed - I saw them live a couple of months ago, and they had both a different drummer and a bassist in our show. Doesnt change the fact the show was awesome, and exactly what I needed at that point. After the performance, I spoke to their singer, and gushed over them, as well as Whirr, and he said that those guys ar his brothers, and yeah, totally makes sense - both are in the business of soul cleansing music.

Surprised that Nothing's Chloroform recieved less attention than other songs (according to RUclips's graphs over timestamps). Best song of the album, imo. Endured a lot of teenage sad shit with this song when I was 14yo and gonna repeat it now, 4 years after.

+evolutionary transgression I think Distressor is classic but Around is really great too and people don't pay it enough attention because it's slow (but that's what makes it good).
There isn't a single song by whirr I dislike which is rare for most artists I enjoy. Even Nothing has a few tracks I don't care for. While these whirr tracks aren't as punk or dark, I think they are still solid tracks. They feel a bit like their stuff on pipe dreams to me. Pop punk feels and still shoegaze and still great in it's own way.

The songwriting on Lean is something incredible. I 've been listening to this constantly for 3 years and this song never gets me bored.

I miss the female lead vocals. Made the sound sublime. Sway's still good. But not as effervescent and epic as the previous stuff.
