    Could you make a tutorial of how to make an advanced rig like this? It doesn't matter if it's not a free tutorial, I'd be pleased to buy a tutorial like that. It's hard to find a complete guide of how to make a rig so advanced, even in paid ones. Or it could be an intensive course, as well. I know that practice is the most important thing to become a good animator, but it's important to know how to use the tools too.

    I'd pay a fair whack to watch you build one of these with an explanation. A full breakdown would be incredible!

    I'd love to see a proper tutorial on rigging and using sliders etc. So many tutorial leave things out and your style and knowledge would help so many. 🙂

    You’re by far the most talented animator I’ve met. I’m so happy to have found you!
    Are you planning on making some courses?

    • @speedlag
      @speedlag  Год назад +1

      Thank you! Very kind of you to say. No plans for any complete courses, at least I haven't been approached for any. Mostly I just like sharing the occasional tip or technique.

    It looks like BQ_Head Rig is no longer available, the dev just stopped working on it. Would it be possible to use 'Joysticks/Sliders' for the hand instead?

    • @speedlag
      @speedlag  Год назад +1

      Joysticks and Sliders would work, an even better option might be duik's Connector

    would just be easier to render it in 3d with a cartoon/cell renderer?

    • @speedlag
      @speedlag  3 года назад

      Possibly, but it's never as simple as just using another software. This takes relatively less effort than 3D and I get full control over the look. Since my workflow centers in After effects, for me it's easier to just stay in the one software.

    BQ head rig is discontinued. Are there alternatives?

    • @speedlag
      @speedlag  2 года назад +1

      Yup! Duik has a system called the 'controller' that does the same thing and arguably even better. If you wanna see that in action, I cover it in my Hip-twist tutorial on this channel.
