It was like a window into a whole new world of music (of GOOD music). Even though I was just a little kid, I was already tired of all that commercial TV-shit. Music here in Russia is literally a fucking punishment. This games' music was my shelter. Now my favorite music genre is Atmospheric / Ambient Black Metal, I even write some. But yeah, 9 years through, and this song is still remembered by me and (I hope) lots of people.
I saw TTS for the first time two years ago and the last song they played was this one, which is conicidentally the first song I ever heard from them. It was absolutely magical
It is ALL great. Perc, bass, 6, lyrics, synth. That wall of nastiness. Heavy sound! These lads are sick! Why is it that most of the melodic yet LOUD bands are Scot? JaMC, GV, tTS? Kinda weird. Even Boards of Canada are kinda loud and they hardly like guitars and such. Love the lot of them!
Really like this band, saw these a few years ago supporting Snow Patrol along with Ash. They stuck in my mind more than Snow Patrol and I am always telling people about them, hope they do really well for themselves.

@ghostlodge No that's completely fair enough, Puzzle was their downfall but I can't say they didn't deserve the success it brought. Their first 3 albums were incredible, and the songs didn't need catchy hooks to be incredible. Don't get me wrong, I do love The Twilight Sad, and Im so psyched about seeing them
The twilight sad go together in 2003. I realize that the shoegazing genre was most popular in the 90's but this song was written in 2007 and that's what Hype679 was getting across.

I think they are just another pop band, but it's all about taste I prefer band like twilight sad and Unwinding Hours because I want to be drawn in, I dont need a catchy chorus to do that... I prefer substance over style. But as I said, it's just taste
