I was in Stuttgart 2 weeks ago. After another Scotland tragedy. In Euros v Hungary. Anyway, I was so pished, had separated from chums, had no idea where I was. Couldn't work out my Uber. Fucked up multiple attempts. So. This car with music coming out of it was stuck at a junction. I offered them a small fee to take me home. To my hotel in Ludwigstrasse. They agreed. Asked me if I am from Schottland (I had a kilt on). Ja! Am I nae! Proceeded to put this song on, blasting through town, with me singing pretty much every word. They loved this. Bar the eens I did not ken. Was amazing. Mix of some other TS and Cure all the way to my hotel. Even though I was absolutely mangled, this will be a memory that will take some budging. Cheers. x
I realize this may be an odd comparison. Yet... I will let it rip and the trolls will eat me as I sleep. Puts me in the mind of The House of Love, a bit. A thought. The House of Love were more...ur, um, accessible sounding with a more polished feel. That was cool for their time. And still is. Structure-wise, this track just brings me House of Love vibes. Regardless, both bands stand on their own merit, and no offense is meant to either establishment. Merely a simple comparison made by a lover of GOOD music from the correct side of the POND😉
