Can’t go wrong with any of his stuff, he’s by far the best drummer in the world and it’s not even close. His one handed drumming compilation is awesome, Godzilla, blinding lights, take on me all good places to go from here

3. Whatever else you choose you won't be dissapointed, but for the start I recommend Thriller vol2 (more recent cover)

4:33 you beatboxed so hard someone called the cops 🤣 Also, he actually mentions what you're talking about at the end. He said something along the lines that he doesn't really have any natural musical talent, he just practices constantly and has devoted himself to the craft. It's sort of inspiring because he cultivated all that talent himself. Absolute machine.

Hi muscle memory is insane. Plays mostly eyes closed and never misses a beat. Ever. 8 to 10 hours a day playing. Elevating his skill.
Anthony, it's funny that you mentioned the rappers cadence. You absolutely have to hear how EES played along with the cadence of Eminem's Godzilla. Absolutely incredible composition and yes, I call it a composition.
One of the many things i love about EL is that he is not using some massive 20 piece drum set.

It's great that you put the word "Skill" in the thumbnail and not talent. I'm sure El Estepario would appreciate that because he doesn't believe in talent. Talent implies that he was somewhat gifted and is just naturally that good and that takes away from all the hard work and dedication he has with his instrument.

Here is what I wonder about artists at this level. Do you think that there is this need to just let the creativity out? Example waking up straight out of bed at 2 in the morning and the only thing you can think of is getting to you medium. If its drums or painting or writing. Something that just must come out because you can't focus on anything else till you do or do you think it is more structured like Mon - Fri 3pm - 6 pm I will practice? Please let me know what you think I am curious how it is for you.
