So at the end of this it sounds like basically what he’s saying is they need money. So if they need money why don’t they work on stocking their merch store and actually keeping it open. Because I wanted a mug and a few other things to put around the house and every time I get excited that the merch store opens it sells out in like six hours or less. OK I made this comment about five minutes till the end I see that they are opening up the merch store but let’s see if they have enough stock to keep it open.
100% agree LMG. if only Hinderland would recruit (even if it's part-time) a community manager, I'm sure they will be much more consistent and smoother on the "hype-expectations". I used to enjoy the game, the progress. yet for 10 years and yet there is no "ending" - it's been a very frustrating wait. nevertheless, LMG, you still make awesome content, and thank you for your hard work!
The next possible map would be from the story mode Perseverance Mills and I would not expect that till probably late spring early summer a month or two after episode 5 but I would probably bet on it being an area of the Blackrock Mountain map as that is the direction it is eluded too in Wintermute.
Are we talking about Mills, well I think I was actually thinking about how Astrid got there via the boat looked more ocean in my head but yea past Blackrock, must be a land route there somewhere perhaps down the road.
@@LMGRUclips Well taking a boat out to sea and wrapping around the coast is probably quicker than walking the entire length of the coast on foot where roads are blocked and bridges are collapsed. I assumed that's why she did it
Can anybody tell me if the game is worth it or not in 2024? I had it in my library for years and exited to play but I have seen so much complaints that not sure if I should play or play another game.
I think if your looking for a really solid cold winter survival game definitely worth it. For story mode I'd wait till next year till that is fully done but played for over 6K+ hours probably the best cold winter survival game out there.
I'd say yes for sure. It's pretty huge as is in size and features. Complaints are mainly around how long it's taking them, not the quality of the game. The art style is kind of timeless as well, so it doesn't feel dated. Fire up a Voyageur survival game and see what you think. That'll keep you busy until the last episode is out and you can fully embark on the story chapters.
I love and adore my Switch but it's definitely not the best for Long Dark, the lack of RAM really hurts it with this game. Good job I have it on PC too. However I think the Switch 2 when it comes will be great for it, as that's got enough RAM to tackle it nicely.

To clarify I've never been banned in any forum what I said is If I probably posted in the forums I would get banned as a joke. Your also free to make any video about whatever you could create an entire channel bashing me you do you that's the american dream. I only bring up past history to make viewers aware as I don't think you should whiteknight or sugarcoat anything into toxic positivity that plagues the industry lately. If Hinterland keeps on track and doesn't repeat the past mistakes you won't hear anything bad about me in the content. I'm just striving to make sure it doesn't happen. Love the gaming industry been playing whole life and covering full time over 10 years but gaming is at a bumpy slope lately just trying to make sure we are heading in the right direction.

I hope they embrace modding and give proper mod support. Mods can increase a games lifespan by years or even a decade or more.
