That book looks brilliant. I learnt to love children's picture books when I had to do storytime when I worked in a library. We favour M.and S digestives above all others. Lovely to see Lillia back home for the hols 😊
The cheesecake looks amazing. I bulk buy lemons when they are on offer as I like hot water with lemon and honey. I slice them up, freeze them on a baking sheet them tip them into a bag. That way I always have lemon slides. They are great in cold drinks and don't water things down like ice cubes but also great in hot water as they defrost and also cool the water slightly
This is exactly what I do too 😃🍋 I love hot water with lemon, but I have about six lemons worth of slices in the freezer already….ok, all an excuse to make cheesecake 😂
Lovely vlog Ali! That book that Jen sent looks amazing! I’ve started reading middle grade as an adult and I’ve been thinking why I didn’t do that sooner! Children’s books are written by adults so why can’t adults read them! Loved your reveal of Lillia too! I remember the joy of coming back from uni and that weight off my shoulders when I knew as I was back at the family home 💕
Oh goodness I remember that feeling too! Nothing like being home 🏠 I have some middle grade on my shelves to read too, I haven’t delved in yet! Sometimes I think that age gets the best stories :)
Hi Ali, So pleased Dan and Lillia had a safe journey home. What lovely thoughtful gifts, the crochet snow flakes would look good on your bedroom bookcase among the fairy lights maybe. Hope Dan's Mum has fully recovered from her tumble down your stairs last year. Best wishes Chris from Kent
Sainsburys are the best plain digestives & rich tea biscuits & they are slightly different to how they used to be the cheese cake looked delicious Lovely to see Lilia home 👍💕
How was your first night home alone? I always wander around and find it hard to settle. Which is weird as my husband often worked away before he retired. Good to Lilia home ready for the Christmas celebrations.
I'm sorry in advance; I'm probably being rude: Could you please not shake the items that you show? I can't focus on the item when it's being shaken. I do pause the video to read any information. It's me, I know. But this trend of shaking items isn't one I like. Thank you for the video. The cheesecake looked amazing.

So good to have everyone at home all cozy. Have a great day.
The cheesecake looks brilliant. Good to see Lilia home for the holiday. x
We love Jen in this house. We have all her kids books. And I have some of her books too. The Sister who ate her Brothers is one of my favourite books.
I use hobnobs for a cheesecake base.

@ThisLittleWonderfulLife 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you never need an excuse for cheesecake lol
Welcome home Lilia!
Please make a little cookbook with the recipies you use. With drawings, cozy yarn stuff, chickens and walks. ❤

Oh gosh you remembered! We were talking about it with her tonight. She is fully recovered, but sleeping on the first floor this time! 🤗

It was ok, I just crocheted, watched some tv, read and had a snore free night 😅 But I felt better once everyone was home :)
There aren't any good digestives left anymore they are all horrid. they changed the recipe a very wrong move McVitie. 😞
I recommend turning them into cheesecake :) 😄
