I'm so happy that I found your podcast, RUclips recommended it to me. Love everything you make, the Christmas stockings are adorable! I'm coming from Gotland, Sweden and also have a podcast about knitting and crafting in English and Swedish. 🥰😀
Great thoughtful knitting! Your podcast really elevates my thinking about knitting too! I made the switch to continental knitting 40 years ago and never looked back. I hold 2 colors in the left hand and add in a third color in the right. It is such an efficient way to knit! I have 5 kids and 16 grandchildren and always have something on the needles. I knit so many socks per year that I was recently thinking about getting the little tube knitting machine to crank out the tubes then hand knit the rest. I will keep watching!
Thank you so much for sharing your knitting with us. Your Christmas sweater looks so pretty on you, and I loved the Christmas Stockings for your girls. I am currently knitting Christmas decorations for our tree and house, little sweaters and socks hung on the tree and knitted Gnomes decorate the mantle.
Thank you so much! I really want to knit some mini sweater ornaments. But I’m not sure I have time now! Maybe next year. Your Christmas decorations sound amazing!
Hi from your NH neighbor. The toys you've made for your girls are adorable. I'm putting them on my list for my little boy. I always love seeing your knits. Your color choice is perfection. Merry Christmas 🎄! Happy knitting 💚🧶🩷
Your Christmas sweater is beautiful! Watching this episode makes me want to knit a little critter. Fleece and Harmony is having a "frivolous cast-on" Christmas Eve....perhaps I'll cast-on Clare Garland's chameleon ❤
Thank you! I’m really in the mood to knit some more little creatures now! They’re such fun little projects. I also have her chameleon pattern - it’s on my very long list of things I’d like to make 😊
Beautiful knitting. I also just recently learn to knit continental with 2 colors, and it deed speed up the knitting.. And i also have the clare Garland book, beautifull patterns, i knitted the owl and the rabbit
@@KnittingJungle I also love her patterns, they are so realistic. Sometimes i had to read the instuctions a couple of times before i understood them, but trust the proces.{..as they say :} Ijust started on the fawn, and that is a big pattern.
I hope yoyr sweater blocks nicely, it's so close to be perfect. But also you're my knitting-cuting guru 😉 I always redo everything I'm not happy with so watching you just go for it is extremly satisfying. Who knows, maybe one day I'll stich something too😂 Is it possible you used drops sky for your teddy? My daughter makes a scarf for her best friend from it and looks simmilar while air is a blown yarn with thinner chain tube. Not that it matters. Thank you for posting, you're definitely in my top 3 podcasters round up this year. I'm very gratefull for your time and effort to share. Happy knitting ❤
Thank you for your very nice comment! Yes, it’s definitely Drops Sky and not Air - thank you for noticing the mistake! I will correct it in the description box. Hope you have a great day 😊
Your Christmas sweater is beautiful. I think I’d block first then decide. For such a thick knit you probably want some roominess so you can wear it as an outerwear piece in transitional weather, but if it doesn’t block out you can totally sew up and trim that slight side bump. I really enjoy the variety of new patterns, yarns, resources that you share. And of course I’m very inspired by the knitting machine content as I learn about mine. After your last episode I swatched and put the front of my small gauge test knit on the machine- wow! About 20 minutes to finish, the most time was hanging it on and picking it back off. How will you finish the hem on the tennis sweater where you have the waste yarn? I’m still trying to decide the best cast on / cast off approach. 🧶 Cher
I think I would reknit the body for sure if it does not block out real pain but if it means you will wear it mor well worth it, sounds like you need a knitting sheath if you knit with the needle against your body, I also think you need to re knit your front on the machine sweater if you have the yarn those holes and problems look bad if looking for lovely toys similar inn design to the bear look up Sachiyo Ishiii she designs some really cute knitted toys. Have a great Christmas with your family
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I believe some reknitting may unfortunately be in my future! I will be sure to look up Sachiyo Ishii. I hope you have a great Christmas as well!
I love that guess! It really looks more like a mirror or spoon than what I meant it to be 😆! I hope that with a few adjustments it will look more like the intended object!
You're very adventurous and I love that you experiment and don't let a pattern's language or style stop you. Such beautiful projects. 😊
Thank you so much!
Your cardigan is beautiful!! I'm happy to see your podcast for the first time!!
Thank you so much for watching!!
I love how you just experiment and keep going without overthinking! You have “knitting courage.”
Thank you! I think having a laid back approach helps to keep things fun 😊
Amazing stuff! Lovely podcast! Hello from TN 🖐️
Thank you very much!!

Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas!! We’re hoping to make it up to NH this winter to see some snow 😊
Great podcast. I loved that you tried on your sweater. It makes such a difference to see it on!😀

You could add wire to the mouse legs to help them stay stiff. Gorgeous just gorgeous!
Ohh good idea! Thank you!

I would make the body of the green sweater again, and prolong a bit the rib to avoid turning it up.
That’s a good idea - I might do that after Christmas if blocking doesn’t fix the issue. Thanks!
Thank you for another lovely episode! My guess for the cable design is hand held mirrors (or spoons)
I love that guess! It really looks more like a mirror or spoon than what I meant it to be 😆! I hope that with a few adjustments it will look more like the intended object!
Hi I’m Sheila from ALABAMA ,I LOVE IT ,I THINK ONCE BLOCKED IT WILL BE JUST FINE 😊
Thank you for the encouragement!! I hope you’re right! 😊 Hello to you in Alabama!
