These little fronts come through close to the w-ends and drop the temps and that back these fish out.... Just about every fish I've caught have had been a eager male, they're there and ready with the right water temp.... Won't be long and it'll be on.... Thanks for coming through brother....

Good video...im assuming you back in the Basin area of South La. I grew up there and i could swear thats where it is. I live in Montgomery Tx. now and commonly fish Lake Conroe. I had a good Sacalais spawn in February and March but they moved a bit deeper now. I went bull-brim hunting the other day and found a nice mess of them. I use a green headed 32nd weight hair wrapped by a guy out of Milton La. His name is Ken Frederick...he is on RUclips also. I just tipped the jig with a worm. I will try the little nugget next time. The worms make a mess. Anyway nice to watch an old timer share his technique. Reminds me of my old pops...miss him. God bless his soul. Anyway nice to meet you and i enjoyed being there with you in spirit.

SK, my favorite way to catch Bluegill, Redear and Shells is with a strike indicator and a jig. I really enjoyed watching this video. It will be about a month away for that kind of fishing here in MO. You had to work for them at first but the old boy came through like he always does!!!!! I will be in the front seat watching you cook those babies up. We got 4 inches of rain two days ago and the lake had a 4 foot rise the nest day. Now I have to find somewhere to fish. Thanks again buddy.
