The Original Cherry Lola Treament part one- Natural hair Journey-

  • A tutorial on my "Cherry Lola Treatment" that I concocted and have found that it really reduces frizz. The results change depending on what I have done to my hair prior to the the treatment, but this is the basic idea.
    Use Natural organic yogurt- not greek- greek yogurt is strained and loses all the whey which contains lactic acid. This is vital!
    I don't put oil in it at all. i find it doesn't work as well.

      Once every 3-4 months. I watched a lot of videos with this treatment and they say don't use it too often because it will strip your hair of important nutrients I believe . There's another treatment out here that somebody piggyback off of this one. It's banana avocado honey molasses one egg and yogurt, now this one I use every other wash. The definition is great and the softness is good to.

    Tried it for the first time yesterday after some research and I’m so happy with my result. For the peeps that still feel a bit skeptical about baking soda in your hair, do small sections first (I did bottom and top of my hair) and then rinse out after 40 minutes just to make sure it won’t damage your hair, then follow up with a deep conditioner.
    Thank you Cherry Lola!!

My hair was wet instead of dry and I probably didn't use a liberal enough amount of amino acid. I also used an 8th banana and tablespoon molasses. Won't do the last two ingredients next time.The goop is on my head and I'll wash it out in an hour. I'll try this again in a few days

    3/4 teaspoon of baking soda thoroughly mixed in 16 oz water to rinse through already wet hair. It is the protein in yogurt/amino acid that changes the texture of your hair. So do not leave in the protein mix for 20 minutes at all. Use it as conditioner or not at all. DO NOT USE THIS IN YOUR HAIR, especially the protein. Test a section if you’re tempted, at least that’s all the hair you will lose. I had to cut my hair because I did this.

      @@keyaraduncan-brown4954 I did some research and liquid amino acids and liquid soy seasoning is the same thing, basically vegetable protein from soybeans and purified water.

    Thanks for the video. I really want to try this on my daughters hair. Do you put this on dry hair that still has product, or is it clean dry hair?

    @star83 I heard somebody left a baking soda treatment in overnight and the baking soda irritated their scalp (bc of the heat and agitation of the scalp by tossing and turning the head at night)
    I wouldn't recommend it

    She doesn't have 4C hair. I guess it really doesn't matter that she doesn't since they may be good for all hair types. However, I was under the notion that it was really good for 4C hair.

    • @angelann77
      @angelann77 6 лет назад

      I was thinking the same thing, her hair is not 4c, some of the videos I see are on 4c hair and the curls are not that defined. Her hair is already naturally curly where as 4c like mine is kinky curly buy it looks like on my hair type it loose the curl up a little. I am going to try on my hair and see how it works.
