One thing im begining to hate about this app is the continue watching feature they only stay on there for a few days before it dissapears i dont know if it does it with everyone though

I got this on day 1 here in the United States, back at the end of 2019. Not going to lie, I haven't logged in even once since The Mandalorian ended. I'm mostly here for the original content, and there's nothing for me until August. And considering what is happening in the world right now with COVID-19, I'm dubious that the shows announced for the fall are actually going to come out this year. Disney clearly didn't have enough content to warrant launching last year. In the year that it will take them to release a second original show I'm interested in, Netflix will have already released 100+ original movies, shows, cartoons, stand-up specials, etc. Disney+ was pushed out way too early.
Yeah I agree man, they definitely need to get more original content to stay competitive / relevant. I’m sure that’s why they are releasing original content on a weekly basis to discourage people buying it for a month and binging a series then not renewing. 😤 Hope you are all safe and well dude ✌🏻
"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" is coming out on May 4th on Disney Plus. If you wanna watch that. I'm gonna watch it, because l've never seen it before .

I signed up for a free trial and have not been impressed with the 4k Dolby Vision picture quality. Is Disney reducing the bitrate of content that is streamed during the lockdown. HDR and Ultra HD streamed via Amazon looks better.
My Sky contract runs out at the end of June. I’ll doubt I’ll renew. Will make do with Freesat. Netflix and Amazon Prime (hardly watch). Is it worth getting this as well?
Also out of interest what iPhone have you got?

Even if you have a expensive TV package the issue is DC will make more and more content D+ only and once content deals with Sky/BT expire there is no guarantee they will renew.
Yeah I was wondering if that was why they waited until March to release in the UK. But sky movies is still playing Marvel and Star Wars. Not in UHD though! Was pleased to see Disney + is available as an app on Sky Q though! Thanks for checking out my vid ✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The stuff I am interested in I have already seen in Cinema. And I have no interest in the rest. Beside, I already have Netflix and Amazon Prime, and there is also the iPlayer. So, I am certainly not short of stuff to watch.
No thank you for watching and for commenting 🙏🏻 The biggest draw for me was “The Mandalorian” and I justified my purchase of £49 as I thought I would probably pay that for a Blu-ray box set, plus I’m getting all the 4K content on top. But yeah if you’ve already got Prime, Netflix and sky or Virgin on top, maybe not worth it. Thanks again ✌🏻

No they’re releasing it weekly 😤. Guessing they will keep doing that with original content to encourage people to pay yearly not monthly.
Really wish I didnt waste my money on this shit. Cant even give it away to friends.

Were you watching kids content? I mean what is disney bringing to the table? Barely new content, the mayority of it, most of the people have watched it in the past.. you can watch it again but then what????
I am a Disney fan I I did that for a while and only watched Netflix maybe a few months later.

Been doing the free trial of it and it's an interesting streaming service. There's lot of content on there, but mostly it's the god-awful Disney Channel original movies and the terrible straight-to-video sequels to their classic stuff. Beyond that, it's the same 30 films we all know and love (and have seen a million times); I think that's worth maybe a month, probably not the £60 full year package.
Also: is it just me or is the UI sort of weird? It reminds me of Kids Netflix- big, low information thumbnails, sorting by brand instead of by subject/style/cast/crew. A really nitpicky thing too is that the alphabetizing seems inconsistent; Aladdin is in A and Aladdin 2: Return of Jafar is in R, while both of Beauty and the Beast's spin-offs are in B. Sounds like a small thing but makes navigating the app quite inconsistent.
Yeah I’m surprised the UI hasn’t had the wrinkles ironed out. Considering it went live in the US in November last year. Interesting and annoying that they are still releasing content (Mandalorian) on a weekly basis, but I suppose it’s business savvy. Hope you’re safe and well bud.

I just got it 2 days ago. It was overwhelming, there’s so much stuff to watch.

Even though its range isn't as big (yet), it has ALOT of re watch, and is perfect for my young kids and family movies, something which netflix was lacking imo.
Have you ever tried the kids profile on Netflix? Tbh I’ve never clicked on it but yeah if you have kids Disney + is a good source for content. Thanks for checking out my vid ✌🏻
@@iwatched Yes, kids like it, but not much for parents and kids together, Disney + is bridging that gap nicely for us, taking us back on a nostalgia trip :p
Well Moana is not nostalgic but adults still like it. Just because it’s for kids does not mean it’s bad
I watched one episode of The World According To Jeff Goldblum and I was hooked instantly. Next I found my self watching the whole season. So I would definitely recommend The World According To Jeff Goldblum to almost anyone and if you don’t like one episode just put the next episode one because it will be something completely different the the episode before.
