Thank you for sharing your process with NACA. I had decided not to use them because of all the negative things and horror stories that I have read and heard about NACA. I watched your journey. And I have decided to give them a try to see how the process goes for me. I guess everyone’s experience is different.

Great series. Thanks for sharing! Not only can the homebuying process be stressful, you have to deal with the NACA process, a short sale and a rehab 😳. That’s a lot!!!
Hey girl hey🙋🏽♀️ yes it can be very stressful I seen my two sisters and a friend from work go through it they were stressed out everyday. I understand about your counselor quitting mine did too. I was waiting on her to call me and see if my paperwork was ready to go to the underwriters. After 2 months of no response finally got someone only to be told she is not there.
Your information has been so informative to me, I’m in the process of being NACA qualified.
You are really good and on point with this journey waiting to see the final.
I know that feeling. That happened to me. My counselor stopped working with naca and no one notify me. My naca counselors have changed 3 times. This last one has been MIA. I will be showing up in the office next week to see what’s going on. It is so annoying!

It is really weird not being in real-time. I’m glad your sharing this for previous and current buyers. For me it wasn’t so stressful. I was just so anxious the entire time. Ready for the next step. I’m glad you’ve stayed in good spirits throughout the process. I’m so happy you took the leap into investing. My current struggle is do I want to sale or rent my home when I buy my new home. I’m really glad to see the process moving forward! Get it girl!!!

I thought NACA paid for everything. Can tell me why you had to write a check for earnest money? Also how much out of pocket did you have to bring to the table at closing? Just want to be prepared. Thanks for your help
No, NACA does not pay for EVERYTHING. If there is earnest money that is the buyers responsibility, Naca helps cover what comes at closing. I'm not sharing my personal cost online but It was a larger amount since I bought my interest rate down. hope that helps
