  • Speed breeding uses enhanced LED lighting and day-long regimes of up to 22 hours to optimise photosynthesis and promote rapid growth of crops.
    Now a team of researchers at the Norwich-based John Innes Centre and colleagues at the University of Queensland have announced a string of improvements which both optimise performance and add flexibility to the method.

      We usually begin advertising our DTP, iCASE and Rotation PhD vacancies each year in September to October with deadlines in November or December for studentships that start in October the following year.
      A small number of studentships are advertised at other times of the year, so it’s worth checking the Postgraduate Research section of our website and following us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, where we announce all our vacancies.
