- Speed breeding uses enhanced LED lighting and day-long regimes of up to 22 hours to optimise photosynthesis and promote rapid growth of crops.
Now a team of researchers at the Norwich-based John Innes Centre and colleagues at the University of Queensland have announced a string of improvements which both optimise performance and add flexibility to the method.
